Cosy country log cabin & private indoor hot tub!

XiomaraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The best cost cabin! We had such a lovely time! My partner and I booked a weekend stay for our anniversary and to take the dog away for his first trip. It didn’t disappoint! The cabin was clean and homey, heating was on when we arrived so it was cosy when we got in and had everything we needed for a much needed relaxing trip! Alan was lovely, greeting us when we got in and was very responsive when I had any questions. The walk for the dog was lovely and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Deffo will be staying here again! Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Beautiful, Unique Georgian Coach House & Hot Tub

AimeeRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a lovely long weekend at Anna’s Coach House celebrating my mum’s 60th with my family. There was something for everyone including our 3 toddlers. Grounds were beautiful & the house smelt lovely & clean. Anna was very responsive & helpful during the lead up to the stay as well as during our stay. The only slight negative myself and my guests had was that upon booking we had expectations that some things would be included in the price as it was shown in the photographs (hot tub, extra fire wood, electric charger for example) but these were all at an additional costs that we were unknown about when originally booking. There were a few logs but didn’t last more than half an evening. Apart from this everything was lovely & we would recommend Anna’s Coach House.
A charming cottage is depicted with a combination of brick and wooden exteriors. Lush greenery surrounds the entrance. Large windows and a garage are visible, contributing to the welcoming appearance. The gravel pathway leads to the entrance, enhancing access to the cottage.

Private 3 bed cottage in pretty Hitchin village

VickiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fabulous weekend. The cottage was exactly how it was described. Everything we needed. Lovely comfy beds. The bedrooms worked out great for our 2 daughters(18 & 11) they both had there own bedrooms & our oldest loved the en-suite & we were upstairs. The hot tub was a massive plus. We visited the pub across the road, the Green man for food & drinks on the Friday night recommended by Jess & ordered a Chinese on the Saturday, it was unreal, kitchen chop suey bar. Our reason for staying was to visit Harry Potter & its ideal 35 mins to get there. Thank you so much

Norfolk family pet-friendly river retreat & spa

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The most gorgeous house with great facilities. Such peaceful surroundings and felt very safe and secure. The host gave some many recommendations on activities and places to go that aren’t far from the area. Can be a little hard to find, however the host gave clear instructions. Couldn’t recommend more!

Gamekeepers Cottage, hot tub & open fire.

HannahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The beauty of this little cottage is just something in it's own right. It felt so homely and it was so relaxing. The hot tub is a lovely little treat and beautiful at night time looking up at the stars. Brilliant for your fur babies. We took our cocker spaniel and he loved sniffing around and having a great garden to play in, not only that, they left him a basket of goodies ... which went down a treat (pardon the pun). We loved having a walk round the county park, which is right behind us and 2 minute walk ... if that. The timely manner on response was within 30minutes or so, and so lovely to message and made me feel comfortable in asking for anything needed. All in all, absolutely perfect and HIGHLY recommend.

Had a fantastic weekend here celebrating for a hen weekend! The place was perfect to accommodate a large group, big enough for communal socialising but also enough private spaces. Cathy was fantastic at communicating and was happy to provide extras where needed. Brilliant location, stunning views and easy to get to Cambridge centre! Would definitely stay here again.

Historic, fully modernised semi-detached house

GaryRating, 5 stars26 months ago
We had a great week in Baldock at Malex's beautiful home! Lots of space and 2.5 modern bathrooms with big tub was nice. Easy train to London and Cambridge with a short walk to/from the station. Plenty of nice town & nature walks around Baldock. Make sure to check out Day's Bakery for fresh-baked pastries and sandwiches. Malex was very kind to meet us on arrival to show us around the property, but respects your privacy and is available only if you need help with anything. WiFi was solid, kitchen well appointed and modern, heating warm in chilly February, comfortable furnishings, laundry in-home if needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommended as the perfect base for exploring Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Thank you Malex! Gary

Victorian Railway Carriage

GaryRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend staying in Michael’s beautiful and immaculately kept converted Victorian Railway carriage. The carriage is beautiful and very quirky both inside and out. It was very easy to find and recognise from Michael’s directions and pictures. It is set on the side of a quiet village road with a very large field/old orchard at the back, which our 2 dogs absolutely loved. There are also many long walks around the local area on your doorstep. The carriage is in a perfect location for easy access to the surrounding areas of Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Sandringham Palace(must see) and the many beaches around The Wash. Michael is a lovely gentleman and a great host, who popped by to say hello and have a quick chat. Making sure everything was ok and answer any questions we may have had. I highly recommend a stay in Michael’s railway carriage, as it’s a hidden gem and a great place to unwind!

A beautiful and very cosy cottage in a lovely little village. Elizabeth was fantastic from the moment of booking, really friendly and helpful. The hamper was a really nice touch and bringing treats for the dogs was very thoughtful, they definitely approved! Ample parking, very easy to check in. The cottage was absolutely immaculate. Reclining sofas, very comfortable beds, a great shower. Well equipped kitchen. The garden was perfect for our dogs. There was not one single fault with our stay and I was rather sad to leave! We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you so much 💕

The Lodge, Bourn, near Cambridge

ChrisRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed for 2 nights from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day 2024 and what a find this cabin was. As the listing states, there's no TV but that was fine with us and we spent a lovely couple of days enjoying countryside walks (our dog loved it!), conversation, board games and reading. It was wonderfully peaceful and we all felt refreshed from the break. The only very minor issue was that there is only a combi microwave and a 2-ring induction hob. I brought along an air fryer/oven so was able to knock out our Christmas dinner pretty well but be aware if you are planning to cook anything exciting. Additionally, despite having an induction hob at home, I couldn't work out how to get it working but that wasn't an issue for me. Great wifi, wonderful walks abound, we were greeted very nicely and then left to our (happy) devices throughout our stay. I can recommend The Willow Tree in Bourn for wonderful food but we didn't try anywhere else, given the times we were there. Many thanks, Jonathan.

Honeyway 17th Century Cottage

It was a real pleasure to be able to stay in such a historic building. Tall people do need to watch out for their heads though. The modern extension housing the kitchen and bathroom were great. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again given the chance. The location in historic Whittlesey is also a very interesting and town. It was perfectly placed for us to meet up with family who live in surrounding districts.

Spacious Two Bedroom Lodge

DouglasRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃
