Cosy Highlands hideaway, stunning garden and views

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely little flat with great views of the Cairngorms. Very well fitted out, the lack of a TV was no loss as it made us do other things in the evening. Spotlessly clean. Didn't see Humphrey as he was on a bike ride round Scotland on behalf of the Samaritans, when we did need to contact him by text he responded very quickly and got things sorted out. Would totally recommend.

Lonach Coaching Inn

We had a wonderful time at Sonia's place. The house and the location were outstanding. We particularly enjoyed sitting round the firepit cooking a barbecue and soaking up the stunning views. We would love to return for another visit at sometime, and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Bridge Cottage on the edge of the Cairngorms.

AlanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay at Bridge Cottage. Koos and Carolyn are lovely hosts and have made a fantastic job of renovating the beautiful cottage, which has everything you will need and all the small homely details make it amazing. The log burner was great and the outdoor storage for our bikes was perfect. The welcome pack was 1st class and greatly appreciated. The location is beautiful with lots to do in the local area. We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return.
The image captures a serene valley landscape featuring a charming chalet surrounded by lush greenery. Rolling hills are dotted with trees, leading to a clear blue sky. A quiet road runs beside the chalet, and the area is enriched with fields and forested hills in the background.

Highland cabin

KatrinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a brief but lovely stay. We wish it hadn’t been so close to the summer solstice so we could have taken advantage of the dark sky observatory area for some star gazing - but the location was beautiful and peaceful nonetheless. The space was much larger than we expected. Portia provided extra driving directions in advance that were super helpful, since the address doesn’t take you exactly to the cabin. Would definitely stay here again!

Unique off grid cosy farm Bothy in the Highlands.

Amazing escape from the busy world. We loved the calm environment at the bothy and the wildlife in the surroundings. Spending some days without permanent electricity and cooking on the Rayburn was a great experience to slow down during holidays
A stout stone farmhouse, constructed in a traditional style, is set against a backdrop of greenery. The building features multiple gabled roofs and a mix of window shapes, complemented by a gravel driveway and a small garden area with flowering plants.

Drumin Farmhouse - lovely old house, sleeps 10

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent a fantastic week at Drumin House, it is vast, the photos don’t do full justice to the huge amount of space and original features of the old house, which has a truly majestic character. We were a party of 9 adults and it was a perfect space, we had a great time. Location is ideal for exploring local distilleries, castles, walks by the river Spey and hiking up in the hills. We cooked a lot in the well equipped kitchen and settled around the lounge fire in the evenings, very convivial . The gardens are also lovely and very private, with the amazing ruined castle at the bottom of the garden! Only improvement would be to add a couple more showers ideally - there were plenty of bathrooms but only one (large) shower so we did have to take turns. But overall that did not spoil our experience, the accommodation was excellent and fair value - would highly recommend. Thanks Antony and Sarah for sharing your treasured home.

A variety of hens peck at the ground in a designated space. The flock includes birds with distinct markings, such as striped and solid-colored feathers. A backdrop of wooden structures and an enclosed area creates a natural setting for the chickens.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

HollyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This place is a gem! After 12 days of non-stop travel, we scheduled a down day at this beautiful location to relax and unwind and boy did we hit the jackpot. The location is serene and beautiful and we were lucky to get some great weather. It was exactly what we needed...we never left the property and cooked dinner and had a night in to recharge. Stephen thought of everything down to the spices in the kitchen. The hot tub was perfectly hot for us after dinner and we fell asleep in the comfortable bed early and slept for nearly 9 hours! I wish we could have stayed longer!
