Small 2 bedroom apartment

In the middle of the beautiful Gründautal awaits you our small 2 room apartment for 1-2 people. Gründau is conveniently located to the highway of the A66 between Fulda and Frankfurt ( 30 min) and also connected to the visit of surrounding sights. For example Büdingen, Gelnhausen or Bad Orb with your beautiful half-timbered houses. A private train goes to Büdingen or Gelnhausen. Hiking enthusiasts will find numerous hiking trails.

The old coin

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. Welcome to the cozy accommodation. Here you can feel at home and explore Ortenberg and its surroundings. The apartment is the ideal starting point for trips to the Vogelsberg, the Keltenberg and for tours on the Vulkanradweg. The Bonifatiusweg leads directly past the house. The hosts are happy to provide excursion and hiking tips. The apartment in Ortenberg district accommodates two people and has its own entrance.

Enjoy your time in our stylish and lovingly furnished apartment. Our apartment has an open living/dining area with kitchenette, a separate bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The kitchenette is equipped with a dishwasher, stove, fridge (+ freezer) and a coffee machine. In the bedroom you will find a comfortable double bed 140 cm and a wardrobe. There is another sleeping space available on the sofa bed.

Newly renovated guest apartment in the former town hall of the village of Rohrbach, near Büdingen (Hesse). You will sleep in the former mayor's office. Quiet location, housing for up to 5 people. Quaint hunting lodge, 100% wood, to slow down, hike, bike, get together. In the middle and completely alone in the forest, completely without "civilization." The hunting lodge is close to Büdingen (about 7 km away) by car, bike and bus. Ideal starting point for cycling and hiking in the wooded Upper Hesse in the south of the Vogelsberg.
