Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Mount Pilatus At Your Feet!

Neuenkirch lies smack in the middle of Switzerland. We are based just outside the village and enjoy a gorgeous view of mountains, lush fields and cows. Pure Swissness! The picturesque town of Lucerne is 15 minutes away and you can drive to Interlaken, Bern, Zürich or Basel within an hour. You can get to Engelberg with its spectacular Mount Titlis in 45 minutes, not to mention a number of other major attractions. We are happy to point you in the right direction, should you need any help!

A cosy little cottage with a view of the beautiful Lake Wägital in a breathtaking mountain scenery awaits you. The Wägital is a popular destination for hikers, climbers & fishermen and is particularly suitable for families. It is quiet and surrounded by nature and nevertheless quick and easy to reach from Zurich. The way to the cottage includes a trail of several minutes with no light.

Personally furnished, cozy penthouse apartment with 2 large living/bedrooms, large kitchen with dining area, balcony, mountain views. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to shopping, bus stop, train station. Walking and cycling trails start from the house. Summer and winter sports in the nearby mountains. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. Our house is located in a small mountain village in the middle of the Glarus mountains near Elm. The apartment is right in the host's house. Part of the garden belongs to the apartment. A gas grill is available for our guests for exclusive use. Free parking by the house. We care about the well-being of our guests. Throughout the year, there are many different activities in this region. There's something for everyone.
