Important: Quinten can only be reached on foot (about 3h from Weesen/Walenstadt) or by boat. There is no shopping, supermarket or groceries in Quinten.

Vacation in a 400-year-old Glarus house

The Brugghus is located in the middle of the village center of Rüti, which is protected as a historic site. The apartment is in the right part of the house. It has a separate entrance and a private patio.  On the first floor are the bathroom, kitchen and living room. A staircase leads to the bedroom on the upper floor. It is equipped with two single beds. A second bedroom is accessible through the first. The house section was completely renovated in 2019/20.

Take it easy at this cozy getaway. It is very cozy and has everything you need. A well-equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, coffee maker (Nespresso capsule), dishwasher and ceramic stove. Also provided for our youngest guests are children's toys, a highchair, stair gate and crib. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk from the house. Just right to unplug. This gently renovated wooden house with modern wet rooms (with extra floor heating) as well as practical kitchen is hard to beat in terms of coziness. The low ceilings, the small windows, wood where you look (ceiling, walls, floors) and also the wood heating: you feel like you're staying in a museum (Ballenberg feeling). - We felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy the four days despite bad weather. Lockbox was untraceable, code was not communicated, but that was also good, because we have the introduction to the handling of the wood heating by the nice neighbor (Fam. Schuler). Fire in a wooden house? - With carbon monoxide meters and smoke detector no matter at all. A Bijou in the middle of a picturesque old village part where "you" still know each other and greet everyone on the street.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Hazzo area. The accommodation was very cozy, equipped with various games and a good starting point for snow days in Elm or Braunwald. The communication with Sandra was friendly and straightforward, she was quick to respond. Great were the Glarnerland passes (various Benefits), which Sandra had issued for us. The parking spot is about 250m from the cottage. The double bed on the 1st floor were two single pushed together beds, with a large gap in between. We missed a large cooking pot, for example for spaghetti. Everything worked out for us. Thank you Sandra.

The stay at Chalet Theresia was too short, as there were only one weekend four of us there for a short trip with the dogs. We were there for the first time and would have felt super comfortable for longer without any problems. Everything is very clean, great functional furnishings, especially the living room with the furniture and the cheminee is simply hammer-wise and also the location in the cul-de-sac and the great terrace fits. Landlord with a very nice and quick communication. We could very well imagine 1 or 2 weeks of vacation. Thank you so much we enjoyed the days
