5 rooms available, about 120 m2, homy and relaxing area. Two floors and 4 bed rooms. 1 bathroom and 1 separate toilette. Bed linen and bath towels are all available and included in the price. There is a 30 m2 terrasse/platform in front of the house with an amazing view to Laax, Vally and the mountains. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, groups and families (with kids). We have two baby beds, high chair and a basket full of toys available for families with kids. You are welcome!

In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.

Our Beautiful, cosy mountain chalet has been recently renovated with designer furniture. We have newly built a very large terrace with direct access to the garden, with amazing views. The chalet is located an hour drive from Zurich, in Arvenbühl, at 1250m altitude. The chalet is ski in-ski out. It has 3 bedrooms: 1 main bedroom with a queen bed, a second smaller bedroom with a bunk bed and on the top floor (low ceiling), there are 4 additional beds. It is perfect for a family of 2 to 7.

Conveniently with the S-Bahn almost to the front door - off you go on vacation in our gently renovated wood house from 1896 in a uniquely quiet location, and yet in the middle of the village right next to the village fountain. A short walk to the breathtaking Diesbach Falls, a 5-minute drive to the Braunwald cable car and a view over fields, into the village and the Glarus mountains await you here. The house has all you need for a relaxing vacation.

Little Bijoux in the Swiss Alps

Little experience with Swiss mountains? Be absolutely sure to read "Further information". A cosy little cottage with a view of the beautiful Lake Wägital in a breathtaking mountain scenery awaits you. The Wägital is a popular destination for hikers, climbers & fishermen and is particularly suitable for families. It is quiet and surrounded by nature and nevertheless quick and easy to reach from Zurich. The way to the cottage includes a trail of several minutes with no light.

Casa Bigneras

The chalet stands alone on a large meadow less than 1000 steps from the village center. If you use everything, you have complete peace, a south-facing view of mountains from east to west and all the important starting points close by: shopping for everyday things, the chairlift valley station from Falera to the Weiße Arena and restaurants. The free village shuttle stops right in front of the house and the ski slope extends almost to the house.

Cosy Flat in a carfree resort village

Cosy part of the house (normally 2 bedrooms, from 7 persons 3 bedrooms or on request) in a renovated knitted building, with a fantastic view of the Glarus Alps. The car-free Braunwald impresses in all seasons with a wide range of activities and is ideal for families: skiing, sledging, cross-country skiing, hiking, relaxing in the nearby spa or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. Chalet Lehni – Quietly located with unsurpassed views of the Glarus Alps. The basement apartment was completed in 2020 and is equipped with a lot of comfort! The apartment (70 m2) has 1 bedroom (queen size bed) and 1 sleeping option in the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower in Italian style. The spacious living room with kitchen offers access to the garden.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The vacation home on Lake Wägitaler stands alone on a hill opposite the village of Innerthal with magnificent views of the lake and the Wägitaler mountains - Bockmattli, Schiberg, Zindelspitz and up to Muttristock all in one view. The house has been rented since August 2023.
