Vacation rentals in Glarus Alps

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment, which was very comfortable and clean. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like a new sponge and dish cloth, dishwasher tabs, and laundry tabs provided. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the bus stop, making it convenient to get around. The host also provided a very well-organized booklet with all the information you could need, including a helpful list of rainy day activities, which was a nice bonus. A couple tips for future guests: if you sleep with more than one pillow, be sure to request extra pillowcases in advance so they can be left for you. Also, when checking out, allow extra time to remove linens and sort your recycling properly, as plastic and aluminum must be dropped off at two different locations in town. Highly recommended for its comfort and location! Thank you for hosting us!

This is the most beautiful homestay I have ever stayed in. The environment is beautiful and the interior decoration is very distinctive. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows surround the small living room in the house. You can drink red wine every day and enjoy the beautiful mountain and water views outside the window. The reflections on the lake are like an enchanting landscape painting!This is a very healing and comfortable modern cottage, and taking a walk by the lake is another kind of enjoyment. The owner is very friendly and helpful! If I come to Switzerland again, this is the B&B I will definitely choose👍

Very nice little cottage, cozy and well appointed interior. We were lucky to have a lot of snow for Christmas: it was magical! The place is secluded and we enjoyed being cut off from the world ( with internet and all modern comforts). Very appreciable ski-in/ski-out access. Our host organized the transportation of our luggage by snowmobile. Catarina responded with great responsiveness to all our requests. There was a small shop with very useful necessities. Thanks for everything!

Everything went great, a 5-night stay to ride downhill at the kindom bike. Tidy and clean apartment, kitchen with everything you need and even more. The addition of the pool and spa in the offer is not bad at all. Ilze is very nice, friendly and helpful. Recommended! When we return for our annual bike kindom week, if there is availability we will definitely try to stay here again...

Annette & Luke were excellent hosts. They answered questions within a short time. The studio is optimal, located right on the ski slope and very quiet at night. The amenities are very good especially the kitchen. There was nothing missing. We will be very happy to spend our next winter holidays in Wengen again in Luise.

The chalet is cozy with incredible views out all the windows. You can watch (and hear) waterfalls and paragliders from your seat at the dining table! It is an easy drive to Interlaken and a quick walk to Tummelbach Falls along the road or to downtown Lauterbrunnen on a trail you can connect to across the street from the house (that had a cheese and wine vending machine and great farm stands along the way!). The road outside the home is busy and not great for walking to town or long distances. Unexpected snow closed Trummelback Falls and other nearby trails while we were there, but enjoying the beautiful setting with a warm fire in the fireplace was still wonderful. Veronique was very responsive and kind. Unfortunately, the laundry machine was not working, but she worked diligently to attempt to repair it and to correct the situation. The chalet was a great stop for us between Zurich and Geneva.

Great place and location, very recommend

Just wow! Had a wonderful time staying at Anita's place. Anita herself is a very sweet and warm person, we immediately felt welcome. The apartment is actually even more cozy than shown in the pictures. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever had in an AirBnb. The surroundings are beautiful and whether you want to switch off or do something, both are super possible here. Chalet Emmely is absolutely worth its price! We certainly weren't here for the last time:) A note for really tall people: the ceilings are not very high, just over two meters. I myself am 188cm tall and had no problems.

The uncomplicated and very friendly Aline welcomed me, showed me everything briefly. A beautiful studio with comfortable bed, clean bathroom, simple kitchen but with everything you need. Great garden with pond; very private & on its own without disturbances from the outside. Large closet as storage space, easy access incl. Parking. All in all a highly recommended stay with Aline.
