I would one hundred percent visit again! And will this summer! Love the wild life and clear water. House was fully equipped with any thing you may need or may have forgotten at home. Beds were amazing! Comfy quiet place to watch birds beavers and water life, or curl up on the sofa with a blanket. Host has made sure to make things easy also including lots outdoor things to do

The house was really cute, and very clean. We felt right at home. She thought of everything and even had extras if we needed them (toiletries, etc). The view was absolutely beautiful! I loved the small town with a handful of great restaurants. I will definitely be staying again!

The amount of work that the hosts has put into this house is priceless. They put so much effort to make it look like how it was intended to be. It has been our intention to visit MCM houses as much as possible, and this house didn't disappoint. Having our family in attendance made the experience even more special. One kid said that he would like to build a house just like this. Julie and Matt thought of a lot of things to make our stay as relaxing and as enjoyable as it could be. We will definitely work with them again if we are ever in the area.

Although Emily was dealing with family medical issues of her own, she was very accommodating with check-in, and was quick with responding back to all questions we had. Very satisfied with our stay.

I cannot express enough what a wonderful host Candy is! She goes above and beyond for her guests! The house is cute and cozy while the property is quiet. I would 10/10 recommend the property!

What a awesome place to get away! Wow did we have a great time . Brad place was so cute, cozy and spotless. We felt at home from the time we walked in . Being by the water was so relaxing he has such a nice set up. Brad was a great host we really couldn’t have asked for more . He went out of his way to make our stay very enjoyable. We didn’t want to leave .Great coffee bar, stocked with great pans and dish wear for cooking . I can’t say enough!! Book this place while you can you definitely won’t regret it . Peaceful lake vacation with lots to do on the water. Our family loved the kayaks, paddle boards, rowboat, and large mat to play in the water. Everything was there to simply enjoy a serene family vacation on the lake. My son brought his fishing poles and they went out fishing in the boat and kayak and played all the time on the lake. We also enjoyed having my family over who we were in town to visit, and all sit at the the water’s edge in the numerous comfortable chairs provided, just catching up. Everything was perfect for enjoying one another’s company. The house itself is spacious and accommodating for a large family. Comfortable beds, plenty of area to hang out and be cozy while watching a movie, or separate the kids off from those who stay up a little later in the adjoining kitchen area. A perfect place! Book now absolutely.

We recently stayed in Sarah’s beautiful cottage by the lake in Hale,MI over Memorial Day weekend.Its a very easy drive from Ann Arbor.This destination worthy cottage is beyond beautiful with Rustic and modern farm house feels! Everything at the cottage is thoughtfully and meticulously planned and you can see the labor of love of the owners at the property. The place is warm and inviting like and we had a wonderful time in this little slice of heaven with gorgeous views. Hot Tub was a bonus since the Temp was still in 50’s.Sarah was very kind and responsive through out our stay. You couldn’t ask for better Hosts!

The Blue Gill Cottage was a beautiful place to spend Memorial Day weekend with our family! The location is so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful lakefront view, kayaking and fishing during the day and bonfires at night! Barbara was a wonderful host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. We highly recommend! We plan on many more visits in the future!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Houghton Lake in your beautiful home. It was the perfect space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The kitchen is fully stocked and the home was clean and had thoughtful touches throughout. Also, the sunset views are amazing! You can tell they take pride in hosting guests. We would love to come back during the summer to enjoy the lake more.

We really enjoyed our stay, the place is for those looking for peace, tranquility and rest! The cabin is beautiful, perfect, just like the ones I saw in the movies when I was a child! The lake is beautiful, my husband had fun fishing and rowing the boat. I highly recommend it for spending some quality time.

My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing at this lake house. It had everything needed for us to kick back, relax, and unplug. Our host was very responsive with every contact that we made! The only thing I would add to the house description is that there are a few pretty tall steps in the house, so someone with bad knees might want to consider that. Great place and well with the money!

This was our second stay at Cathy's Cabin. As always the cabin was clean and welcoming, just put the cooler contents in the fridge and begin enjoying the stay. I enjoy this lake. It reminds me very much of my grandparents lake cottage. Late May is still cool weather in Michigan and Cathy's brother made a special effort to get the pontoon boat ready for us. We enjoyed being out on the water and trying our hands at fishing. I caught a northern pike at the north end of the lake, Khi caught some small walleye right off the dock. For guests in the warmer weather there is every kind of summertime toys imaginable in the shed, kayaks etc... We would definitely look forward to returning to Cathy's Cabin again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Yellow Door Lodge! The place is beautifully designed — cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully put together in every corner. It felt like a perfect home away from home. Rex was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. His warm hospitality truly made a difference and added to the overall experience. Our dog, Puntu, had a great time too — it’s such a pet-friendly spot! He enjoyed exploring and relaxing just as much as we did. The lakeside area was a highlight. We spent some peaceful time there soaking in the view, and it added to the whole relaxing vibe of the trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-designed getaway with great hosts!

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.

Absolutely beautiful area and very comfortable and beautiful little house. Left right at home! 10 out of 10 will recommend! Mardi was very quick to respond and absolutely outstanding host! Price was perfect as well! Very much enjoyed my stay!

The harrison house was the most wonderful lake house stay ever! We came with four adults and 2 kids and a service dog. The home was perfectly appointed and exactly how it was described in the description. They added so many wonderful touches to the place like homemade muffins upon arrival. It was decorated perfectly with modern appliances and conveniences. The beach was sandy and perfect for the little ones as well. The game room was awesome for the half day rainy day we had and the living room was cozy and spacious. Dawn the host was so very kind and communicative throughout our stay. We made some core memories here this week and are so very grateful.❤️

Jeff and Ashlee are both amazing. We felt so at home. The cabin was more than we hoped for. You feel like you’re sitting right on the beach from pretty much anywhere in the cabin. We started looking for availability for our next trip before we even left. We already miss the two Eagles and the mallard ducks! It was our 47th anniversary and staying in the fishbowl made it perfect. Don’t have one negative thing to say.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little house! It was the perfect size for our family—my husband, our two younger kids, and me. The kids especially loved playing at the sandy beach area, which made for some great family memories. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The only thing we found ourselves wishing for was a washer and dryer, especially with all the sandy clothes and towels. That would’ve been a helpful addition, but certainly not a deal-breaker. The outdoor sitting area looked lovely—we’re hoping for warmer weather next time so we can take full advantage of it. We also really appreciated the clear directions; it would have been tricky to find without them. Overall, a great spot, and we hope to return again soon!
