A Farmhouse Family Getaway with Wiffleball Field!

We highly recommend the Farmhouse! We came for our son's graduation from Letourneau University. It was an easy drive to and from the campus. The location is secluded and quiet, and the house is comfortable, cutely decorated, and clean. Brandon was very attentive, made sure our stay was comfortable, and was easy to contact if needed. The wiffle ball field, and the fire pit made for some great memories and photos. Sitting out at the fire pit in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee while bird watching with the family was a lot of fun. The hammocks were so cool! The drive to the house was beautiful. My son who lives in Longview couldn't stop talking about it. We met some friendly locals while out taking a walk to see the nearby cows and horses, which made it feel more like home. Thank you to Brandon and family for sharing their wonderful home with us. We had an incredibly fun family vacation, and we will definitely book the Farmhouse again when we come back to the area.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house in Gladewater! The home was spotless and incredibly well-stocked—especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed for cooking meals. We especially loved spending time by the pool and relaxing on the dock, which made for a perfect getaway. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful lake views made it easy to unwind and enjoy some quality time together. One small tip for future guests: although the kitchen does come stocked with salt, pepper, and sugar—you may want to bring your own seasonings as well. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat!

The owners stocked this place with everything you would need like extra blankets, pillows, paper products, towels, washcloths, etc. They even provided extras like shampoo and conditioner and body wash / hand soap. They also provided some bottled waters and some yummy chocolates! The hosts were very responsive and I just loved staying in this cabin. True home away from home!

A Hidden Gem Near Barnwell Mountain! We originally chose this Airbnb because of its location—it’s just minutes from Barnwell Mountain, which made it incredibly convenient for our off-roading adventures. But once we arrived, we absolutely fell in love with the place! The home is beautifully decorated, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. From the comfy beds to the peaceful outdoor space, every detail made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The host was responsive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We’ve stayed in a lot of places, but this one stands out. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway, this spot is a winner. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Serene elevated house in a low area of the piney woods. In a secluded corner of a large property with other structures, including the owner's house, and a man-made pond with a fishing pier. Inside the treehouse, everything is clean, cool, and warm, with all the necessary furnishings. The enclosed patio is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. Outside, we enjoyed the small fire pit and fishing around the pond with earthworms we collected nearby. Roughly 9 minutes driving to multiple restaurants and grocery stores. The host is extremely kind, genuinely grateful to be hosting you. Simply, a wonderful retreat in the country.
