We loved the house with it's 8 rooms and 2 kitchens that was perfect for our group. Ample parking and convenient to the nearby town to grab a few grocery items. Will book again.

The cottage (Roykstovan) was so lovely!!! It was very peaceful and quiet- loved listening to the waves. Elduvík is out of the way but worth it. We loved having fires in the wood stove at night. The kitchen is perfectly functional and the bathroom is super nice- heated floors! Staying here was an amazing getaway. Also Aksel was super nice and communicative and gave great recommendations for hikes!

We really, really enjoyed our stay in Elsa`s beautiful and cozy home in Elduvik and recommend this as highly as we can possibly recommend a place to stay. It was truly a unique place to stay in Elduvik and significant care was made to make this a really homey place, from the design touches to a meticulous renovation of a traditional home. Indeed there are no restaurants or stores in the village, but that is the charm of staying here. Cooking in, going to the fish market and supermarket before arriving and simply enjoying a very special and unique experience separated from the stresses of life. The house has everything you need and you feel immediately warm and at home as soon as you walk in. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Elsa for the wonderful stay and truly special experience.

A typical Faroese house. We are glad we stayed here to fully experience and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the locals. Jorun was very kind, she made me a personal birthday card and left us candy. 🙏Thank you Jorun!
