Apartment vacation rentals in Girdwood, Anchorage

We rented the top and bottom of this place for a group of us to attend a wedding! We had a great time. The place was clean and convenient. Very walkable to Aleyeska mountain, the spa as well as all of Girdwood’s favorite restaurants. We had a great trip there and would recommend it!

Our summer stay at this brand-new, beautiful Girdwood rental was absolutely perfect. We loved the stunning mountain views from the front and the relaxing rushing sound of California Creek in the back. The location could not be better, with several restaurants, a coffee shop, and the well-stocked Crow Creek Mercantile just steps away. The rental had everything we needed, and Kaleen was a fantastic host. Highly recommended!

Alexandra and Forrest are absolutely wonderful hosts! The place was lovely, and had a great view! The hosts provided laundry supplies and lots of clean linens. The king size bed was very comfortable - we even asked about where to get the mattress because we want to get one, which the hosts were happy to tell us :) The only thing to be aware of really is just that the place is pretty close to a main road, so you can hear cars through the bedroom window, but if you keep the window closed or bring earplugs for sleeping it’s not too bad. But the curtains keep almost all light out so we didn’t even need to use eye masks. Additionally, the proximity to city life does provide convenience if you want to walk the 6 minutes to Kaladi brothers for coffee and a breakfast burrito or pastry :) Plus the location makes everything super driveable (less than 20 minutes to lots of great restaurants). This is a great home-base to explore around Anchorage!!! :)

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. It is beautifully designed and decorated and the most pristine, well-stocked rental I've ever had. If you need something during your stay, it is there! And, there were so many thoughtful touches, we couldn't get over it! This experience absolutely felt like staying at the home of close friends. The hosts were very communicative and friendly, flexible when we had a special request, and gave us excellent local recommendations. Their apartment is worth the price because it is thoughtfully curated to suit your every need, and you're staying in a residential neighborhood that's five minutes to grocery, pharmacy, restaurants and more. We have already shared the listing with Anchorage friends as the perfect option for their future guests. Five stars all around, and we will be back! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Nice location and space. Quiet location. Space was clean and comfortable. Convenient location, close to downtown, convenient to get to other places. Would help if you have a car.

David’s Airbnb apartment was a beautiful, cozy, and relaxing environment. It was the perfect place to return to after a long day of exploring Alaska! It looks just like the pictures and had great decorations that enhanced the space! David was a wonderful and responsive host, and he provided us with everything we needed! We loved this place and would definitely recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay - the location is very walkable to to all things in downtown. Janna was very proactive with communication, provided very clear directions to get inside and was very friendly.

Beautiful home, wonderful views with a private deck high in the trees for us to relax on after a busy day! So close to base and shopping but very quiet and peaceful in the home. We will definitely stay here again!

It was a real pleasure to spend time in this apartment, whose location is really pleasant. The apartment was overall clean, from the kitchen to the bathroom, including the bedrooms and living room. In particular, the bedsheets and towels were clean and spotless. The apartment was functional. WiFi, TV, washing machine and dryer were all functional - we did not test the dishwasher. The beds and sofa were comfortable. We really appreciated the little touches offered by the hosts, e.g., new sponge, new bottles of dish soap, hand soap, new shampoo and conditioner, make-up remover, toothbrush with toothpaste, cotton tips, menstrual kits. Board games and books were also provided, a real +++ when traveling with family or friends. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, attentive to any needs we might have. We highly recommend this apartment.

Cute, well kept place. Has every thing you need for a nice stay. Appreciated the little things like cooking spray, qtips and laundry detergent for example. Was nice to have a fire in the backyard at night as well. There was plenty of room to park our 2 rental cars. It is located next to a sheet metal place so there was some noise from that, but only during the day time. Nice and quiet at night. Overall, it was a lovely and convenient place.

Nice place. Updated bathroom, functional kitchen. Great host. Would stay again if in the area. Strongly encourage Turo/ rental car to get around.

We were so happy staying here. The home was everything we expected and more. It felt like home, had an area for everyone, was immaculate inside had everything we needed if we forgot anything. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling. Five star across the board.

Space was beautiful. Only caution I would throw out there would be the fact that there are not blackout curtains that cover the windows. This time of year the sun is up most of the day and it doesn’t really get dark. Other than that the space was great. Easy walking distance to several restaurants and the market.

The short walk to downtown, easy access to trails, a cozy cabin feel and a hot tub to polish it off! I had a blast staying here and David did a great job making it feel like home.

Ellie’s place was amazing! Very responsive and was very kind in allowing a later than expected same day booking!! Truly a life saver. In addition the place had amazing resources for exploring the area, it was extremely clean, and the bedroom got super dark which is such a bonus in Anchorage! Thanks Ellie!

Alex was a wonderful host! Excellent communication and a warm welcoming suite. One of the best coffee and tea bars I have seen! This space is a great option for a stay in Anchorage.

Very clean and quiet place, in nice neighborhood!!

This Airbnb is very conveniently located to lots of fun things to do. We highly recommend backcountry adventures in Palmer. We rode ATVs to the Knik glacier which was truly fantastic. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounding mountains, which you see all around, are stunning. We made use of the hot tub, which was nice after an active day, and it was fun having a ping pong table. We would definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend place to anyone with a small family or group! It was perfect for attending the 3 barons renaissance fair right down the road. As a vendor I had weird hours but they were very accommodating and didn't seem to mind us arriving late at night.
