Kayaks can be rented if experienced or with lidence. The house from the 19th century and was an active merchant area with steamboat harbor, postoffice, and market. Renovated with new bathroom. The sauna has amazing views of the sea and mountains. Charger for electric or plug-in car is available.

We also rent out a kayak and boat for those eager to explore the sea. A perfect escape for peace, nature, and true Lofoten charm.

Huset er 117 kvadratmeter stort, med store oppholdsrom til både familier og venner som reiser sammen på tur. Det hvite, velkjente stranda på Haukland ligger ca 700 meter nedenfor huset.

Cozy house in the Lofoten with lovely views and everything on one level! Hiking opportunities right outside the door! You can walk on the shoreline or in the mountains right from the house. The house is located “right in the middle” of Lofoten, about 45 minutes to Svolvær and about 35 minutes to Leknes. Great location if you want to explore the Lofoten Islands. The road outside is not a main road so little traffic. Can climb mountains and swim in the sea on the property.

Gammelstua - The Tidehouse

This home has stood by the sea since the late 1800s, shaped by weather, tides and generations before you. Carefully restored, it blends original timber walls with modern comfort. The cabin is 30 square meters, and has 1 bedroom and 1 galleried bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen and terrace. It is located in Brenna, about 36 kilometers from Svolvær, and has a sea view. You can see the midnight sun from mid-May until mid-July, and the northern lights from September until April. Brenna is a quiet place surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature. The nearest grocery store is in Kabelvåg, 25 minutes from the cabin.

Enjoy your stay in Lofoten in a fishermans cabin with everything you need. The cabin is new, modern, and lays right by the ocean and mountains. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, with a large, fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, a living room with a beautiful view, 1,5 bathrooms with shower and washing machine, and a dining room with room for the whole family. Nice fireplace in the livingroom on the second floor.

My place is good for couples, traveling alone, business travelers and families (with children). We generally close the cabin in the winter, but if you would like to visit Lofoten in the winter, please send us a request and we can discuss.
