The annex is beautifully located in the 2nd row from the sea, with lovely demarcated private garden. We have 2 min. to beautiful views of Kullen, the harbor and the coast, as well as 7 min. walk to the beach with a bridge, and thus a great opportunity for a morning dip! Follow the Fyrstien towards old Gilleleje, or in the opposite direction towards Nakkehoved Lighthouse, from where there is a breathtaking view.

The Norwegian log cabin

This unique place has a style all its own. The house is built of solid timber that has been felled in Norway. The house oozes coziness and warmth and serves as a small oasis. The sleeping area is arranged on a mezzanine with a skylight window. Delicious materials have been used. Beautiful marble countertop in the kitchen and beautifully handmade dining table. Furniture is carefully selected with a focus on sustainability. Textiles in organic materials have been selected. The garden is large and beautiful and there is a very short distance to the sea.

Welcome to our cottage in Orups/Gamlehus! Our half-timbered thatched cottage is part of the former stable of our 18th century renovated farmhouse in the small but charming village of Domsten on the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. The beach is a short 2 minutes walk away; the marina 5 minutes. Domsten is an excellent base from which to explore South-West Sweden and North East Denmark (a 20-minute ferry ride away). Excellent opportunities for cycling, hiking and other outdoor activities.

The double pane windows help a lot but it can still get noisy at times.
