Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Giles County

Cheryl’ place was fantastic. We were in town for one night and this was a great retreat. Peaceful surroundings, extremely well furnished home, all the amenities needed, and loved the backyard with hot tub and fire pit. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet stay.

If you want really fantastic Service and lodging, then this is the place.

Great host, great property, great stay. Emily was proactive in making sure that my stay was the best it could possibly be. The space was clean and easy to get into with instructions. I felt safe in the area. Overall, amazing!

This house makes you feel like you’re at home! It’s a very peaceful and cozy place. My husband & son went fishing in the pond and caught a couple of bass. One morning we woke up and there were three deer right outside in the front of the house. Warren was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect, spotless and very welcoming. A perfect place to take your mind off everything, 5 stars is an understatement.

We were in town for a wedding, which was close by and convenient. The place was spacious for our party of 6. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

Needed a place for our family of 6 to stop over for a good night’s sleep before continuing our road trip down to our Florida vacation spot, and we were so grateful to find Taylor’s place! Check in was easy with a keypad, the house manager Katelynn had everything ready for us and communicated well, the place looked like the pictures, and the kids all had their own beds and slept so much better than if we’d chosen to cram into one or two hotel rooms. I noticed that the floor in our bedroom was a bit creaky, because my husband would stir each of the several times i snuck my pregnant self to and from the restroom overnight, but most people probably aren’t getting up so much in the middle of the night, so that wouldn’t be an issue! This place really was perfect for what we needed — wish we could’ve stayed longer and explored Columbia more! Thanks for a great stay!

Derek & Tara's place was quaint and exceeded our needs. They had lovely decor, as well as being very comfortable. They left us fresh cut roses, snacks, paper plates, bottles waters and a Brita water filter. Everything was in working order and they had the A/C nice and low for our arrival. The home is in a picturesque setting and parking was very straightforward even in our full size truck. Will absolutely stay here again next time we are in town!

Quiet, comfortable lodging, loved having a full kitchen. I only spent the early morning & evenings in the apartment & during that time, neighbors were quiet. It’s a short drive to the civic center area. Neighborhood felt safe. Communication is great. I would stay again.

Place was great the people who own it are great definitely will be staying there next time I come into town very cozy and comfortable thank you once again for opening your home for me

Tina and her beautiful Farm completely exceeded our expectations! We immediately felt so welcome on their incredible farm. Our kids roamed the property and were usually given treats to spoil the animals with. The grounds were breath taking and both Tina and Leno were incredible hosts. We felt like we were home and never wanted leave. We will definitely be returning at some point! We cannot thank Tina and Leno enough for their hospitality and for sharing their paradise with us!

Another wonderful weekend at Elk River Retreat! It’s just as described exceptionally clean and well stocked The beds are very comfortable and furnishings are lovely Our great grandchildren love the thoughtful treats and toys We love that it’s pet friendly with a beautiful yard to walk our pups Enjoyed watching the deers in the tree line You will not be disappointed Tracy and her husband are exceptional hosts

This was such a wonderful getaway from the noise of the city. The yard and the garden was kept so well. It was absolutely a delight to stay here.

The cabin was great. We were in town for an event that got canceled due to rain. So we just enjoyed a relaxing weekend. The coffee bar was phenomenal. The cabin was in a beautiful spot in the woods. We saw deer. We walked down to the creek. Such a peaceful place. The cabin was neat and clean. Would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back.

The best Airbnb I’ve stayed in to date. Beautiful surroundings in a cozy, private cabin. Cindi was so helpful with recommendations of places to eat, things to see, and even suggested an app that would record bird sounds in the area (it’s a veritable bird sanctuary), which provided education AND entertainment! Anything I might have needed was at my fingertips, and I knew if it wasn’t, Cindi would find a way to procure it for me. Total five star experience - I have fantasies of returning and asking about long term rental - lol!

Very beautiful cabin. Much larger than it seemed in the photos. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the private feel of the cabin tucked away off the main road. We also loved the fact that we could explore the entire property, although we were limited on time due a local event we were attending. We would love to come back to have more time to just enjoy the cabin and the property. David was very friendly, with great communication and even made us aware of grounds keepers being onsite to pull trash and other chores well in advance. Looking forward to staying here again.

What a beautiful place to call home for a few days! I never knew how peaceful cows and birds sounded at 5:30 am! (The neighboring cows mooing can be heard while you're drinking coffee on the balcony porch - taking in the beautiful sunrise, the gorgeous views, the morning fog rolling in, the nature of it all! None of the guests inside were woken by the animal noises, they slept soundly!) We felt safely tucked away up in the hills. We loved the fact that we were away from the hustle and bustle and people yet close enough to city life to make a Walmart run (15-20 minutes away. Who forgets sandals on vacation?!) The place was well stocked, from bath towels/linens to games/activities to kitchenware/utensils. Seriously, everything you could need was available. The home was clean, super comfy with trendy decor, huge kitchen space and a large dining table. Detailed and helpful check in/check out instructions were given, the owner was extremely quick to respond to any messages. 10 out of 10!!

Mark was an amazing host. Responded quickly and answered any questions we had. The cabin was just as described and we would stay there again.

This cabin was great for our purposes and we had a wonderful time. The land is beautiful, the cabin is pristine, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to do a lot of cooking. These are just a few notes for future guests: 1. Kayaks: Just to make it clear for future guests, not all the canoes and kayaks advertised in the photos can be found on the property. We found three kayaks total, one of which was very dirty and unkempt. 2. The listing advertises that the cabin sleeps 8 total, including a couch and an air mattress. We were at full capacity and needed to use both the couch and the air mattress, but there was no bedding to be found for the air mattress. We made due with what we had, but I do believe bedding for the air mattress should be included if the air mattress is to be counted as an eighth “bed.” All in all, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this cabin. Just wanted to include these notes for future guests.
