Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and tranquil surroundings with views of the fjord and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" located just below the cottage. You can also enjoy the hot tub in summer as well as winter. If you want speed and excitement, there are many possibilities: Alpine hiking in Glomfjord, walking on Svartisen, skiing in the Meløy Alps, island hopping along the Helgeland coast and more. Guest apartment in part of single-family home - Gildeskål

Guest apartment in great single-family home in quiet surroundings in the countryside, about three blocks by car from Bodø. Surrounded by forest, mountains and the sea. Close to sights such as Saltstraumen, Svartisen and Langsand on Sandhornøy. Good conditions for fishing all roads, ocean and water. Bedroom with large double bed. Sofa also possible for any 3rd person. Also movable guest bed. There are also available bedrooms in the other part of the building, but use of this must be specifically agreed upon.

Large cabin with lovely views, boat and sauna

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new from July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top trips and smaller family trips for you.

Modern cottage surrounded by beautiful nordland nature overlooking sea and mountain from living room, kitchen and bedroom. The cabin is located about 3 miles from Ørnes and Inndyr which is the nearest center. Nearest grocery store 15 km Road to the door. The kitchen is well equipped. Dining area for 6. 1 large bedroom w/double bed, 1 m/ 120 cm bed + 1 m/120 + 90 cm bunk bed. Bathroom w/shower, WC and laundry. Bed linens, towels, soap or shampoo are NOT rented out.

Nyt utsikten fra en 150 cm Jensen kontinentalseng som er deilig å ligge i. Compact living for to med kjøkkenkrok, kjøleskap, stekeovn, kokeplate og oppvaskbenk. Kjøkkenbord med stoler og romslig bad med dusj. Vannbåren gulvvarme gir behagelig jevn temperatur.

Cabin in Gildeskål

Relax this summer with the whole family in the main cabin at Cool Cabins, on beautiful Sandhornøy. Here you have access to the beach on the property, fishing opportunities, as well as plenty of hiking opportunities and excursions nearby. We recommend a trip to Elias Blix cafe, and for the more adventurous, a trip up to Sandhornet (993 meters). And maybe the host can offer you guided tours by bike or by boat.

Sigurdbrygga -Seahouse with view to eagles

Restored and charming seahouse from 1965. Brightly decorated house of 35 m2, with 2 small bedrooms on the loft. Living room has a dining area and a reading area. Sofabed for extra guests. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, and bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside area with garden furniture and campfire pan. Yacuzzi can be rented for an extra fee on 600,- for a weekend or 800,- by the week.
