The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Gorgeous cabin which is pristine and well equipped. Lovely, peaceful area and close to all attractions. Jennifer was highly responsive and was very flexible with us and our newborn baby. Exceptional service. Will definitely use Jennifer again! Thank you so much.

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

Extremely pleasant week in Kendal and surrounding area using Cathy’s lovely accommodation as our base . Fully equipped , very comfortable , lovely decor and the bonus of private parking blended with some very fine weather all added into a perfect week for our family holiday get together. Highly recommended to anyone wishing to be close to amenities within lovely surroundings…..

We had a fantastic stay , the barn was beautiful ,mike was very helpful and friendly. My granddaughters was very happy to see the baby chicks hatching and the lovely fresh eggs went down well for breakfast , we didn't use the pool has the girl's was bad and and it would be nice if it was in with the price , £40 a day is a bit much if ur there for a few days and only using it for about an hour or so a day . A fantastic place well worth a visit

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

Heather cottage is a gorgeous little place, exceeds expectations from the pictures! We had a 5 night stay for our 4th wedding anniversary. Amanda had left us a lovely welcome gift which was really sweet. The cottage is nicely decorated with nods to the Brontes' and the log burning fire was stacked ready to light, which we did on night 2! Many places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk including artisan/gift shops to indulge yourself, which we did! At the the weekend there was the Haworth Haddock steam train event, with fish&chips served on board, a drinks carriage and live music at Keighley Station which we enjoyed! Theres plenty to see or do in the surrounding area of Bronte villiage. We'll definitely be going back to Heather Cottage! Thanks again Amanda.

The property is in a great location for exploring Settle, the house was extremely clean, Matthew was really helpful and quick to respond, would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay in Johnnie’s Cottage. It was perfectly located to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Bainbridge is a hidden gem of a village, arranged around a lovely open village green. Chantal was a wonderful and very responsive host.

Homely place and a great location for exploring the countryside

We had a wonderful stay at Hoglet House. Hannah was a brilliant host and responded really quickly. The house was so well equipped, Hannah had thought of everything, and the welcome goodies and flowers in the house were such a lovely touch. The house information booklet was the best I’ve ever seen - the nespresso coffee guide and detailed cafe/restaurant guide were great! The cul de sac the house was on was super quiet and a really short walk into Skipton, and was also ideally located for exploring the wider area. Thank you so much for a great stay!

We were after a home from home, somewhere to explore various local areas. It delivered and more! Philip and Maria were excellent hosts, even informing us of the once-a-year Gaping Gill winch experience, and helping us to get tickets. This was truly above and beyond, and the highlight of our week. This beautiful cottage in it’s stunning location is perfectly placed to explore Ingleborough, and we are recommending it to our friends. The little touches like lovely toiletries, bedding and decent washing and drying facilities (great when you’re ‘all weather folk’ with kids and dog!) set this apart from other places. Would give 6 stars if we could. Definitely would love to return.

Well, what can we say? We have simply had the most amazing stay for the past 5 nights at Victorias place. We really didn’t want to leave. If you enjoy long walks (from the doorstep), stunning scenery, peace and tranquility, then this is the place for you. Victoria and Ian are superb friendly hosts, and full of useful local information. The bonus to the stay was meeting Freddie💙 Our pooch Alfie loved him and it was a sheer joy watching them play rough and tumble together. The accomodation is first class too, lovely and airy with each window having a fabulous view. We will most certainly be returning. Lovely little cottage! Had everything we needed and the place was immaculate. The attention to detail too - the colour scheme, decorations and organisation was perfect. Would defo stay again ❤️

We did a lot of different activities in the Lake district but the house was the highlight of our trip, we’d have been happy just to spend the whole time in the house. The house has been designed to get the most out of the views and the decor is amazing too, it is really clean and feels brand new. I’d say it is definitely worth paying a bit more to stay here over anywhere else in the local area, and we will be returning at some point in the future, we miss the house already. Also Team Laik and the owners are all fantastic, communicate well and make everything easy, so if you haven’t used Airbnb before I’d go with these, you can use the messaging system on the app and get a response almost straight away should you have any questions.

Us (2 couples) and our 2 spaniels had a great time at Bramble Cottage which is a lovely house, decorated very well and well fitted out. Amazing walking trails nearby.

Our 2nd visit to knotts view and it certainly won't be the last. Everything about the cottage is amazing and of such high quality, including the welcome pack! The views from every window are simply stunning! The weather wasnt the best when we were there but we still managed to have a bbq and several dips in the hot tub. All in all a great place to spend precious family time!

Great place to stay for a couple of weeks for work, very homely and had all I needed. I particularly loved the luxurious big bath and the patio garden is very nice too.

Stayed for two nights with my grownup children Had a great time, lovely location, did some walking to the cove and to Janet’s Foss Went to the pub which is just around the corner which was handy! The house was very nice with views out across fields We ate at the house both nights (we left it too late to book anything local) I found the large kitchen well equipped with all you need to cater for the 8 of us that were there. All in all a very pleasant stay, I would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful stay. Lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. Spotlessly clean. I’m not keen on showers over baths but this one was excellent and very good water pressure. Lovely view from the bed. Farm shop a few minutes walk away very well stocked. Plenty to do in the area, great for walking. We’d definitely return to Rachael’s.
