Thankful for this gem for our staycation while displaced due to our furnace giving out. Tamela was super communicative and supportive through the whole thing. Even gave up her secret bedding finds as the beds were SO comfy! Our kids loved the house as well, the front porch is so cozy and inviting and it felt like our home away from home. Thank you!

Enjoyed my time here! Lots of space and the fenced years was great for my little dog. Good location near downtown Ferndale on a nice, quiet street. I had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the host was very responsive and found a solution.

The beds were extremely comfortable. We were doing some work in the local area for the week and this place worked out great. The interior is pretty small and closed in, but it is cozy. The driveway access is perfect. Would definitely use the facility again.

Very clean, the park is really nice. The area has plenty of options when it comes to eating and coffee. Not a bad drive to get to downtown Detroit from here too. I would definitely stay here again

This place was great! 5 of us were in town to visit our father, we invited him to stay with us because there was plenty of room for all of us. Safety gates were an added plus for our 19 month old who wants to climb and explore EVERYTHING! We were just in time to sit in the backyard and enjoy the patio set and fire pit. This place is underpriced & we will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

This was a beautiful place! About 30 minutes from downtown Detroit. Plenty to eat near by of a good variety! They offered local recommendations for food and places to go. The place was stunningly beautiful. I would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

Even better than the pictures! Nancy’s love for welcoming guest shows in all the attention to detail. Not only does she offer a great value, but the place is beautiful and meticulously clean, with so many nice little amenities. She has taken care to provide for everything you might need. The space is beautiful and the outdoors is peaceful and welcoming. She welcomes you as she would family.

Laura was very helpful and place was beautiful. She even responded late a night about some questions we had.

Maylinn’s place was a perfect home away from home on a family trip to the Detroit area for Thanksgiving. The home is cute, with lots of nice updates, and was the perfect size for our family of three people and one dog. Everything was exceptionally clean — above expectations. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed her room and thought the trundle was cool. Our dog loved having a yard to play in. We were glad we brought his tie out, as only three sides of the yard were fully enclosed. But it worked out just fine. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner and make breakfast. There was a washer/dryer. One thing to note is that there was no dining table. There is one eating bar with two bar stools and another table with two bar stools. We would definitely stay here again. Great place for the price and really wonderful to have our dog with us. (He does give a “snort” for not being allowed on the furniture. But we explained it was better than being left at home. He agreed.)

Incredible place! Extremely clean, very responsive to any questions!! We brought both our dogs and felt like they were very welcome/didn't feel uncomfortable having them there! Bed was extremely comfortable!Gorgeous neighbourhood walkable to the water and took the dogs on multiple walks around the neighbourhood lined with stunning homes! My husband arrived late the first night but it's self check-in so super smooth! Very accommodating!

Place was exactly as described. We love traveling with our dog, Million, so it was extremely convenient to be able to take him with us to visit family in the area. We actually ended up taking him for a walk around the area, which was extremely nice.

Such a charming space in a beautiful house! I love the character of older homes and this one is great. Radiant heat kept the place plenty warm. Host was a great communicator. Bed was VERY comfortable. I’d definitely return.

Mrs. Arlene responded quickly and her hospitality is unmatched. She made sure that me and my love had a very peaceful, stress-free stay. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again.

The Urban Cottage was a lovely get away for my husband, myself and our pup! The outdoor area is very spacious with areas for our dog to run loose! She loved it in the back open field area! We were introduced to the space and given keys by Steve. He was nice and informative. It is not self check in so you will tell them it ETA. Sarah was nice via messaging as well. You felt immediately comfortable! The space has a fun vibe and I enjoyed journaling and drinking tea out by the creek at the outdoor table. I found the cemetery very nice behind the property, there were people who use the trail back there, we didn’t explore it ourselves. The shower was small but nice and had shampoo, conditioner and soap. Everything was very clean. The Keurig was an added bonus and there were a lot of plates, bowls, utensils and cups! The bed was very comfy and the comforter was really warm! We had a great sleep! The photos are all accurate and it is decorated beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful stay! A+!

Get place for a family to spend time in Detroit. Will stay again.

This place was more than we could ask for. very clean and lots of space. We will definitely return next year for the same trip. We really appreciated the space and the little extras left for us. You won't be disappointed.
