An absolutely stunning riad with the most amazing view from the terrace. Hasna and Sadia were brilliant our entire stay, Adil was also so helpful and accommodating- particularly with our super-late arrival. A gorgeous place to stay.

There were 6 of us and we all greatly appreciated the dialogue (via the app) with Dominique. The charming Hayat was waiting for us and had prepared the evening meal. Every morning she offered us her beautiful smile while preparing the delicious breakfast. The Riad is sublime. Wonderful stay at Dominique's.

Hana’s place was an awesome place to stay in the heart of the Medina. It made our time in Essaouria so memorable and had everything we needed. My partner was working throughout and the wifi was great. Hana had tons of restaurant and cafe recommendations for us and we felt right at home in our 2 week stay.

The apartment is very tasteful and beautiful, well situated in the medina. Be advised that the seagulls in Essaouira are loud, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

The place speaks for itself and Julie is a great host, with the help of Khadija! we loved everything about the house, and the view it's priceless. We can't wait to go back to Essaouira

A quiet, characterful riad, full of character and perfectly located for the bustling streets and beach. We were looked after extremely well by Hafida, who prepared enormous delicious breakfasts each morning and did some laundry when we asked. Several inviting seating areas, inside and out, meant we had the difficult choice whether to go out or stay in. Sylvain arranged airport transfers and was quick to respond to all queries.

Thank you for everything to Fouzia and all the family who received and welcomed us like part of their family. We really felt at home, and the Tajin was excellent. Next time we come to Essaouira we won't hesitate of contacting you guys.

We had the most amazing stay at this Villa. Christine and Nicholas were so helpful before hand with renting a car and advice on what to do there. We were warmly welcomed by Omar and Najat on our arrival and the house looked just as amazing as the pictures. We loved the pool which is really good size with plenty of space for relaxing and unwinding around it. Najat was so wonderful with her care, we loved her cooking, so delicious and massages we wonderful too. We felt so well looked after it was almost overwhelming. Omar's gentle presence was reassuring too and he took care of a minor repair quickly, he also arranged Camel riding for us. Essaouira is beautiful and everyone we met was so friendly and easy going. Words cannot express enough how joyful a holiday it was, we were sad to leave and hope to go back someday. thank you

A wonderful comfortable stay. The gardens and pool were just lovely. The place is quite far from town but so peaceful, green and secure. The apartment was well equiped with a great terrace and amazing pool all to ourselves. I can highly recommend this place.

We had a dream week at Villa Darko. All families fully enjoyed the villa, pool, and the many activities offered by the Essaouira region. Najat was a great host, always available and attentive. His cuisine was simply delicious: we enjoyed delicious Moroccan dishes every lunchtime and every evening. We highly recommend this villa, the quality of its staff, as well as Essaouira as an ideal destination for families. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Lovely villa , pool and food . Not far out of town. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms are very comfortable, modern and very clean. The gardens are wonderful and the peacock sounds an added bonus. Thanks

Beautiful Riad in a great location. We loved our stay in this riad. The host was very proactive with checking in our stay, and the house manager - Sanea - was very friendly and helpful. The riad was beautifully decorated, with lots of common areas - making it great for our group of 8 (family members). Large dining area was perfect for the delicious breakfasts. Comfortable beds and good, hot showers, large bedrooms. The rooftop terrace has a spectacular view of the ocean, and of the town. The location is fantastic. Lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance to the souks, cafes and the ocean. Thank you Charline and Sanea for making our time in Essaouira so special. We hope to be back one day.

Very warm and cozy Villa. Slightly outdated. Beautiful plants and flowers around the house. +/-20 minutes drive From Essaouiera. Quietly located, only the rooster of the neighbors was very present. Lovely heated swimming pool. Extra asset is the presence of Fatima. She made a wonderful breakfast every morning (on request also other meals), she covered our beds, did the dishes, lit the fireplace in the morning... Real hotel service! Mohammed who came in the morning and evening for the maintenance of pool and garden was also a plus. If something was broken (for example, a running toilet) it was immediately repaired by him. Highly recommended but drive to Essaouiera.

Wow wow wow what can I say! Carla's property, the location, and the attentive, caring and talented staff who look after you at the property are all ten stars!! The place is even more amazing than the photos can describe - every detail of the house is artful, the pool was perfect, and the hammam and the massage service from Debhia at the property was a big bonus! The rooms are HUGE - so comfortable, and there is so much space! The bedding is crisp, we had the fireplace going one cosy night, there are other areas like an open tent area in the grounds where you stargaze! The food that Hayat and her team cooked was absolutely stunning - prepared carefully for our many dietary needs and presented so beautifully! Special mention for the amazing Abdulatif, who brought warmth, kindness & help no matter what time day or night - the whole place was an oasis of calm with a feeling of family. We couldn't have asked for anything more - if you are thinking to book here, dont hesistate :)

Good value, good location, basic accommodation - easy.

Nice apartment, very bright, offering a beautiful view of the ocean, well furnished and well equipped with nice decoration, very quiet and clean building.

Fatima was so lovely and friendly to us. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were superb, they far exceeded our expectations and were very, very generous. All were taken on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views.

I cannot recommend Villa Fadati and Charline and the team enough! It is even more beautiful than the pictures in real life. Sanaa was completely amazing and made us breakfast in the villa every day. Kamel was amazing and helped us with all our baggage and lead us directly from the taxi into the house. He even showed me around the surrounding areas for where to get some supplies! The house is so spacious with every bedroom amazingly spacious with an en suite! We had the most amazing time and I would definitely return to Villa Fadati! The most gorgeous house right in the heart of the medina!

We had an issue at check-in: the keys in the lockbox only opened the upstairs studio, not the full apartment we booked for 4 adults and a 6-month-old baby. The host was unreachable (her phone had died), so we had to book a hotel around midnight with Airbnb support. The next day, Birta contacted us, apologized sincerely, explained the situation, refunded the full amount through Airbnb without us asking, and even invited us all to breakfast at their lovely bakery, Pumpkin—which I highly recommend! The apartment, once accessible, was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, especially for families (baby cot, high chair, etc.). Despite the mishap, Birta was kind and professional. We would happily stay here again when visiting Essaouira.

A gem in the middle of the Essaouira medina! Everything is very easily accessible from the apartment. Virginie had sent us a small guide with her good addresses before our arrival, very useful!
