Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gernsbach

The flat was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river, there were many walks to choose from which went directly from the house. There is tourist information in the next village along which can be walked to as its about 3km away. It was not made clear that there is only one bedroom, this is large and has lots of storage so is a nice room, the second bed is actually is a fold away one in the lounge area. This was not a problem for myself and my friend but just something to be aware of if you were wanting more privacy. The flat is self contained but it is within the house itself, there are a number of other flats within the building, if you are expecting it to be separate its not. There was occasionally a small amount of noise from the private part of the house where the host lives but this was not intrusive, just the children playing. Be aware that you will need to pay tourist tax at the end of your stay, its about one euro per person per day.

Following a stay with friends at Europapark, we booked Rainer's place. There is nothing to say except that everything was superb. Host is responsive, caring and warm. The apartment is in very good condition and as described. The village is very friendly. We won't hesitate to come back.

Apartment, location and host really leave nothing to be desired. Communication with Falk is really outstanding and very personal. The property and location are fantastic. It is the details that will be happy to bring you back. The amenities are really extensive and the whole design of the interior design is very loving. We spent incredibly beautiful days, amid the forest. Whether we saw the sunrise on the balcony in the morning or at the fire pit in the evening - everything gives you the feeling of being in a very special place. We will definitely be back!

Bodo's apartment is perfect for spending a few days visiting the Black Forest. It has everything and is spacious. Haslach has everything and is beautiful. Bodo is attentive and responds quickly. Definitely a place to go back. Highly recommended

We were there with our baby and were able to sleep well thanks to the apartment layout without having to limit ourselves. The bed was comfortable and nice and big. The use of the swimming pool was great and thanks to the warm hot tub, the baby could also splash around. The place itself was not sooo suitable for strollers, but that should not be a KO criterion. Easy to use both in the rain and in the sun for excursions/sauna day. Super mix of independence with the kitchen and the extra (living)room, and the amenities of a hotel such as room service or massage offer.

Jean-Paul is a very friendly and helpful host. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Even had Christmas decorations which were much appreciated! Is a bit out of town which means it’s quiet and the bus service is easy to use.

There were two of us for an extended weekend at this place. Steffen was very friendly and accommodating and had even greeted us personally and shown us the apartment. The city is a 20-minute walk away and despite Easter weekend we still found space in various restaurants. The apartment was very nice and we felt right at home. Our highlight was the really nice bathroom with a rain shower. There are two cameras in the house that are plugged in, but they were covered and, according to Steffen, set to standby. Nevertheless, we would have felt even more comfortable if they had been removed during the stay of guests. Otherwise it was a very nice time and can recommend it to anyone who wants to have a few days of rest in a really great apartment.

Stéphane is an amazing host. Very responsive and very helpful. The flat was pristine! Very clean and spacious. The view was spectacular. Great location and walkable to many sights and accommodations. I would highly recommend Stéphane and his home to make your trip to Strasbourg memorable.

Alles Super! Mega Haus!

Great area if you like to hike scenic trails and eat good food. Bakeries and high quality restaurants are walkable. A larger small town is also a 5 minute drive for shopping, etc. The guest house was in great shape. We had two meals in during our week and it had everything we needed. 1 bathroom, but there is an extra toilet as well off of the porch, which was nice. Regina was very friendly and responsive. 5 stars

Ulrike & Martin, both super hosts! Very friendly, helpful, with lots of tips for all kinds of activities with our family. We greatly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings in the middle of the spruce of the black forest🌲, with drinking water from the tap that flows from their own natural mountain spring, wonderful hiking, fun activities for the children undertaken. Yes, we come home very full of this vacation and highly recommend the cottage with Ulrike and Martin! Best regards from Belgium

Erika's place is a peaceful oasis in the middle of nature, allowing you to deeply recharge your batteries. Tastefully decorated and featuring impressive kitchen equipment, the accommodation invites you to relax and unwind - especially on the sun loungers of the beautiful terrace when the sun is shining. Erika's little touches, always friendly but discreet, did not fail to delight us. The cleanliness of the accommodation is also impeccable. The accommodation is located in the middle of nature and the efficient "Nationalparkregion Schwarzwald" app allows you to find hiking trails nearby and adapted to your desires in the blink of an eye. We would have liked to stay even longer at Erika's. Thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful stay. Geny and Richard were exceptionally hospitable, kind, and considerate hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment is spacious, cozy, bright, impeccably clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a great time despite the rainy weather that wasn't there. Only 10 minutes from the golf de souffleheim where we had a competition. The house is large very functional and very pleasant with a very large green area. A foosball table for fun evenings. José welcomed us perfectly and remains available. We would definitely recommend Rebecca and Daniel's house.

Had a great couple of days at this place. It's at an (aging) holiday park, but the house is cosy and kitchen and bathroom are up to date. Love the (new) fireplace. Easy access to trails for walking and mountainbiking. Kids loved sleeping in the attic!

We had a great stay. Being a group of 4 adults & 4 children, the apartment is very comfortable and functional. It is modern, clean and very well-equipped (including exotic spices & sauces :)). Hosts are very responsive, available and flexible. Perhaps the only small downside is the wifi coverage (a little difficult to pick up from the downstairs bedroom and kitchen)

Very well equipped mobile home with a vmc (heating and air conditioning) which is very appreciated. There's also a small TV. And a quality exterior. The host was responsive and efficient.

Very well located house, very well equipped, and warm, it feels good! House decorated for Christmas, it was very nice. Maud communicated well in advance and made our arrival easy. There were 7 of us, 1 teenager and had plenty of room.

Excellent stay in Boofzheim! The mobile home is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is ideal, just minutes from Europa Park, which is very convenient. The host is responsive, welcoming and gives all the necessary info. I recommend it without hesitating, thank you again!

The time in Markus apartment was very nice. Due to the nature-connected location, it was the perfect starting point for hikes with a dog. Unfortunately, the Internet did not work, which was ultimately a welcome break from the "media day". The contact with Markus and the welcome by him and his wife were very nice and warm.
