Beach house vacation rentals in Georgia

Kevin's place is a great choice in Tybee if you want your own house, pool, etc...It's a few blocks walk to the beach, but they provide a big beach cart to haul your chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc..which makes things easier. The kitchen is outfitted with most everything you'd want. They even had some cooking oil, salt and pepper for our use. There were some minor plumbing issues in the upstairs bathroom that he plans to have remedied immediately, but no major functional issues with anything in the house. Overall, it's a good option for families that want the space of a house but also want their own pool - oh, and the pool is a great size, temperature (at least in June) and comes with a nice bunch of pool floats.

Absolutely loved our first experience on Tybee. Rick’s home was so convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. The house was spacious and comfortable. The porches were great to relax outside in the shade with the breeze and fans. Rick’s recommendations for restaurants were spot on!

Just wanted to get away for a couple of days to celebrate our first Father’s Day. We LOVED the place. We brought our dogs and newborn and there were endless things to do with everyone. We planned on checking things out outside Big Canoe but didn’t end up having enough time because there was so much to see! We went during storms and lost power (we were fine and it wasn’t for long)and chase and his uncle were on top of it! I will note that cell phone service is VERY sketchy- so downloading a map of big canoe is helpful. And if you’re hoping to just walk outside and walk your dogs -I wasn’t able to find an immediate trail and the winding roads are sketchy to walk but there are plenty of places that are a quick drive away in the resort. We tried to get food delivery- skip that. Pick up your groceries at the Lowe’s food grocer along the way. Other than that we both can’t wait for our kid to be older because there is SO much we have left to do. Will definitely rent this place again!!

Had a great relaxing time. Gorgeous scenery and the house was very nicely decorated. Lots of games to play with kids.

Abbey has a beautiful home; very spacious and clean. The surroundings are very peaceful and make you feel right at home. There are plenty of places to visit that are walkable or within a short drive. Even on a rainy day, it is nice to stay indoors and watch TV, play games, etc. Abbey was always responsive and friendly, and our party of 6 had all we needed for the week. We also enjoyed meeting the local kitties, who are super loving - but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay on St. Simons Island.

We loved staying in this beautiful and exceptionally clean home! It’s right across from Acworth Beach and a playground, which made this a really fun stay. We really enjoyed the walking trails throughout the park and the home’s outdoor spaces. The attention to detail throughout the home is also very appreciated and made our stay very comfortable. From the provided coffee and creamer to extra towel hooks and toiletries in the bathroom, the hosts have thought of everything! We would love to stay here again!

Our stay at this duplex retreat truly exceeded our expectations! We were a group of six adults (three couples), and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The amenities were fantastic. We especially enjoyed being able to cook steaks on the propane grill, which was a huge plus. The location couldn't have been better – it was a short walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient. We also greatly appreciated the great garage parking on the property; we didn't need to use our vehicles at all during our stay. Tim was a wonderful host throughout our visit. His quick responses to any questions we had were incredibly helpful, and we were so grateful for his hospitality. We highly recommend this property and can confidently say, we'll be back!

Loved our whole family vacation. Place was perfect! Favorite feature is the enclosed porch. The rocking chairs with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night while listening to the ricer run by was perfection. Host was great. Always responsive with questions. Kids loved the basketball and corn hole. Definitely recommend!

Very cozy accommodations for the four family members who stayed. Clean, updated, good location. Shared pool was nice. Ample parking for guests. Hosts were very quick to respond to messages. The only negative was the very weak and unreliable wifi. Would still highly recommend!

Great place to stay with lots of amenities and lots to do! We kayaked, fished, biked, caught crabs, swam, played games, and took the beach gear to the beach. You can tell the hosts want their guests to have everything they need for a perfect stay on Tybee. The host was super fast and helpful on responding to questions about kayaks and tide schedules. Although this space is technically shared with the hosts and another Airbnb, it felt very private. It’s further back off the busy streets of Tybee but its central location on the island made it easy to bike everywhere. We’ll definitely be back!

Came down to drop our daughter off at college and stayed 8 days. The house was amazing, lots of space, great room for entertaining and relaxing. Also all beach and pool stuff included which we were not aware of up front. The location was great. Close to restaurants and a private beach access as well as a short drive to a more popular beach location. The company was responsive and helpful when we needed to add some days as well! We will definitely bring our family back to this house in the near future!

Our stay was fabulous! Fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to great local restaurants. Michaels home had all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and he was super responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend staying here.

We are a Girl Scout troop from PA and the girls opted to use cookie money to come and hang in GA and Tybee. Trisha’s house was perfect for our group and had all the necessary items to make a stay more convenient when traveling. She was super responsive with everything and so easy to deal. Place was exactly as pictured and would recommend to anyone.

Once again an excellent stay and trip. Kenyon is a great host and the house is perfect for a family vacation on Saint Simons Island.

Condo was so clean and comfy, area is very peaceful. Highly recommend staying here. If you do, you have to visit North Beach Bar and Grill!!!

When we arrived the internet was out because of a storm. Mimi went above and beyond to get it back up. I was there to relax and wasn’t that worried about needing wifi but I am sure she would go above and beyond on any issue.

It was everything we expected. The community was very welcoming. The restaurant down the road “Sea Wolfe” was great food great drinks fabulous bartender. The property was clean. They had beach stuff for us. They had wagons to tow the stuff to the beach. We had bicycles to ride. It was just overall 1 to 10 this place was 12. I would definitely rent again.

A perfect week in a perfect hideaway that was central enough to find a lot of adventures. The beach is only a few turns away, the coffee place was great, the house felt like home.

Halen’s place was absolutely perfect! We planned a girls trip and it was everything we hoped for and more! From the beautiful pool and outdoor space to the spacious rooms, bathrooms and kitchen it was the best place we could have found! If we are back in Tybee, we will certainly try to book with Halen again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Marilyn's home. It was very easy to find, we had all the info we needed before we arrived and check in was a breeze. The space is absolutely beautiful, the kitchen has everything you need, GREAT big refrigerator, nice dining area and open living room. The master bedroom was great and we loved the big shower! The towels were super soft. Beautiful rooms upstairs as well! We really appreciated the beach towels, chairs, umbrella's, and bikes. Such a short trip down to the beach or to town. The house was absolutely perfect!!! We were sad to leave. I would 100% stay there again and Marilyn was an amazing host. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it!!!

This house is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our family! The location is very easy to access off the main street into Tybee, and once you are in the house, it's private and quiet. The views of the marsh from the large back deck are stunning. The house itself has a great layout - easy to be all together in the open living room/dining room area, with a big kitchen, and then two private bedroom/bathroom suites and a third bedroom. The North Beach was less than a ten minute walk, and there were lots of beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas available to take. Mike was a terrific host! From the first communication to the last, he was kind, enthusiastic, and helpful. His welcome letter was full of wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to do, in addition to clear and easy instructions about everything related to the house. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Our Tybee cottage was perfect for what we needed. We were just passing thru to visit friends who are locals, for a couple of nights, while on the 2nd half of our road trip. The cottage is within walking distance to the beach, the beach bar and restaurant, the cutest coffee shop called Tybean and other fun beach shops. Love that the cottage was dog friendly as well. Beds are super comfortable and there’s plenty of couch seating. We also really enjoyed the screened in porch and the neighbors are very friendly. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but nice that they have one. This is the kind of place you stay at when you know you’re going to be spending most of your time enjoying the island, the beach and eating out at restaurants as the cottage really only has the bare necessities from a kitchen, bath and living space perspective. Highly recommend renting or bringing bikes, for getting around. The Host was responsive and friendly and the check-in/check-out process was easy!
