Relax in the stylish and quiet house on the edge of the forest in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, not far from the Rennsteig (2 km away). House is modern and fully furnished with living room including fireplace, sofa, table, TV. The kitchen-living room with induction stove, dishwasher and washing machine is located on the first floor. It is also worth having breakfast/grilling on the terrace with magnificent views in good weather. Bedroom (1.60 m bed), sofa as well as workstation (fast Wi-Fi) and view.

Swedish house with sauna, fireplace, pool and hot tub

The cozy house with a wood-burning fireplace, Finnish sauna and a bedroom with a hot tub is perfect for a romantic time for two, but with 100 square meters also offers enough space for families with children or a meeting with friends. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Tabarz in a quiet location, close to the forest. The house has a garden with terrace and small pool (diameter 5 m, 1.20 m deep). The pool is not heated, so it is the perfect way to cool off after the sauna or sunbathing.

Old carpentry Engelsbach

New, modern vacation home for two people built in 2021 at the foot of the Thuringian Forest, near Friedrichroda, with its own sauna house in the garden. A small, modern solid wood house with all comforts (e.g. box-spring bed, fully equipped kitchenette, underfloor heating, internet TV, free WiFi, sauna house for sole use) was built on the site of a former carpentry workshop. During construction and furnishing, special emphasis was placed on the use of natural and uncontaminated materials.

Holiday Home "Cottage"

Our 124m² holiday home is located here in the green heart of Germany, in the Kneipp spa town of Bad Tabarz in the Thuringian Forest. The holiday home was newly built in 2001 and includes a garden plot of around 880m² with a beautiful barbecue area that invites you to relax at the end of the day. There are many excursion destinations with a rich cultural program in the area, Eisenach with the Wartburg (24km), Gotha with Friedenstein Castle (12km), Erfurt (40km) or Weimar (70km).

Holiday home “Leonard” on the edge of the forest

The idyllically located vacation home with a size of about 50 m² has a living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and space for two people. The cozy cottage is located in the beautiful health resort of Finsterbergen, directly on the edge of the forest and very close to the Rennsteig (5 km). Due to its location, it offers an ideal starting point for extensive hikes. The forest pool with volleyball, mini golf and tennis courts are about 200 meters away.

Country house "Am Waldrand" in Thuringia

Haven't you always wanted to get to know the foothills of the Thuringian Forest? How about a few carefree days in the countryside? Do as the barons of Witzleben did and move your "home away from home" to the Geratal. In the "Landhaus am Waldesrand" you will find a fantastic accommodation (approx. 100 square meters). It has an open living / dining area, an open comfortable kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with bath and shower, terrace and large garden.

The house is modernly decorated and the garden offers plenty of space to spread out. In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof. In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use them, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in summer by arrangement.
