Kid-friendly vacation rentals in General Luna

We hebben een fantastische week gehad! Het huisje is ruim en heel proper. Alles was zoals gewenst. Roland heeft ons goed geholpen bij het huren van een brommer zn de surflessen die we bij hem namen waren heel goed. Kortom: een warme thuis weg van huis.

Had a great time at Catharina's place. Very peaceful and quiet. There are some nice restaurants nearby and it's also a quick motorbike ride to General Luna if you need. Walking distance (along the shore) to the surf beach. But it was just nice to spend time at the villa reading and enjoying the beautiful view. There's a cockroach who lives in the bathroom, we named him Tim! He did us no harm. If you want to get away from the noise of General Luna, i would recommend staying here! Thanks Catharina!

Absolutely beautiful place, we had an incredible stay! Jen was very helpful, and helped book us airport transfers. We were a group of 2 couples and the layout was perfect for our group. Thanks for a great stay!

I recently stayed at Prana Resort, and I had a wonderful experience! Even though we had a little misunderstanding at first, the staff quickly sorted everything out. They were incredibly accommodating and made sure we felt comfortable the whole time. The best part was the staff—they were the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met! They took care of everything we needed, so we didn't even have to think about anything. It made our stay so relaxing. I highly recommend Prana Resort to anyone looking for a great place to stay. You will not be disappointed!

- Nice strategic location; fenced and private - Walkable and very accessible to restaurants and other establishments - Kuya Jay Mark was very helpful and responsive; he has a motorcycle you can rent (can negotiate easily) - Complete utensils, we have everything we need - Distilled water was provided (including the refill) - Strong internet It's like home away from home. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends and family.

The apartment is cozy, everything was clean, and it matched the description. Host Jordan gave helpful tips, useful contacts, and helped with everything. When I needed water, I went to the shop next door and said I was staying at this house. They gave me water for free and said, “You’re from Jordan’s house, don’t worry, he already paid.” Everything was as expected, or even better. The only downside is weak soundproofing — roosters start crowing with the first sunlight. No other problems. Jordan is one of the best hosts I’ve met — everything is just like in the listing. I recommend him!

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en daarna altijd heel behulpzaam. Geweldige ligging midden in het centrum van General Luna maar geen overlast. Het appartement is veel groter in werkelijkheid dan op de foto’s

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Rachel’s Unterkunft. Das Apartment ist klein aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Rachel und ihr Co-Host standen uns jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung und haben uns bei der Planung unserer Weiterreise und Buchung eines Rollers unterstützt. Das Apartment befindet sich an der Hauptstraße an der auch einige Bars liegen, deshalb ist es bis Mitternacht sehr laut. Wem das allerdings nichts ausmacht, der hat einen perfekten Ausgangspunkt um Restaurants, Cafés oder Bars zu erreichen. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen, bevor wir für etwas Ruhe in den Norden gefahren sind.

Wow, this is a gem in Siaragao. So happy with it. Nice private apartment, full kitchen including good open heat stove, full fridge, rice cooker, kettle, and pots and pans and silverware. Felt like our little home. Great location, relatively quiet. Was so comfortable and clean, and the host was so responsible. I HIGHLY recommend this place, better than anything I found online or at any homestay. This place feels like a homestay and had a great host. It is a new apartment, so there were a few kinks and broken things , our bathroom had a small leak and had wet floor, but the host WAS GREAT about it and helped us fix it immediately after we texted. Great ac unit air conditioning too. The bed was comfortable. Really an amazing apartment and perfect locations for us. Close to General Luna but outside of the hustle and bustle. So close to sunset bridge and cloud 9! thank you so much to the hosts :)

Eva’s place was a beautiful design. stocked with all you need to cook for 6 people.Very comfortable once inside. Netflix service and other streaming options. Daily maid service while you are out exploring the island. It is very close to the Fresh Market, Scooter rentals, souvenir shops, Tour booking outlets and many restaurants and Bars. All in walking distance. Eva was great with arranging Shuttle service to and from the Ferry in Dapa. A couple of small issues with No hand-railings along the wall of the steep stairs leading to the loft. If with an elderly person or someone with mobility issues it might be a little challenging. if you are a light sleeper like myself you may consider Earplugs for the Roosters that start their cock-a-doodle-doodling earlier than sunrise. If you want to be near the action this is a place. It is kind of in the middle of Secret Beach and Cloud 9. 3-5 kilometers either way. Eva’s place is a Gem of its own on a Gem of Island. Looks like one of the Best!

Excellent location in the main city of General Luna - on the main road situated above Amon Cafe. The best thing about the place is the location and the super cold aircon - very easy to walk to most places or you can get a tricycle easily outside. There is no generator at this place during a brown out BUT there is one at the cafe downstairs so it’s very convenient. Unfortunately there was a small negative during our stay - although investigated by the owner and a technician promptly after we reported; the refrigerator was not working during our stay. Unfortunately this did lead to ants as there was nowhere safe for us to store food and we were not able to purchase larger quantities of food, food ready in advance or cold drinks ready to go. Overall, we still had an amazing time and would recommend staying here! Thanks again to Del!

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer schönen und ruhigen Unterkunft in der Nähe von General Luna. Was soll ich sagen. Dieses Inserat war ein Volltreffer. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Ceasar ist ein toller Typ und sehr hilfsbereit. Seine Haustiere sind super süß. Küche vorhanden, falls man etwas kochen möchte. Kleines Bad mit Warmwasser und ausreichend großes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Wir schätzen sehr, dass er uns half bei dem Roller Verleih und Transfer zur nächsten Unterkunft. Am ersten Abend gabe es sogar eine kleine Tour durch General Luna. Tausend Dank für diese Erfahrung. Liebe Grüße an Mia

The room is on the second floor with a terrace and a kitchen, it’s very private and every morning you wake up with birds singing in the trees outside the balcony. The bed is comfy , room is clean, hot water working well with good pressure. At night it’s cool you don’t need AC. The host is very responsive and kind. We enjoyed our stay!

Wir waren 10 Tage in Malinao und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es sind immer Mitarbeitende vor Ort, die einen mit allem helfen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und von Natur umgeben, man braucht aber definitiv einen Roller. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Wir sind wirklich sehr zufrieden gewesen.

We had a lovely stay at Jay’s place. The apartment is right near cloud 9 and a driving distance from general Luna. Jay was very helpful, gave us great local tips, was friendly and made the experience seamless. The apartment was equipped with all we needed and was spacious!

This is really a jewelry of an appartement. We did quite the research before deciding on a place to stay and are so happy we eventually booked this airbnb. The place is super clean and comfortable, looks exactly like in the pictures. The AC works perfect, the kitchen is well aquipped and there was even a washing machine we used. The wifi worked perfect and there even was a big drinking water tank in our room. The communication with Jay was so easy. He organized an airport pick-up for us as well as a scooter we used during our stay. He always answered right away and gave some really good advise. We could have also booked tours through him. The appartement is a short drive from the "main city" which we really enjoyed because it was rather quiet in the night (apart from the roosters, but those are everywhere) and the scooter drive is very fun. If you don't like to drive a scooter there are plenty of tuctuc which can also bring you to the main area of the town.

Jhiemarie’s airbnb was perfect for us as a family of four. The unit is spacious and clean. Jhiemarie is a wonderful host and is helpful and responsive. We will be sure to return to Sing when we visit Siargao in the future! Thanks again for hosting us!

Sehr schöne Airbnb mit toller Einrichtung und einen schönen Balkon zum verweilen und den Abend genießen. Kuya Dante ist sehr hilfsbereit und hilft mit allen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A great place!! We stayed there for a week and a half and was absolutely loved the place! Each room has a living room and a tv with Netflix and a table, big comfortable bed and hot water in the shower! They helped us with what we needed and we recommend this place if you want to be just close to the Main Street but in a quiet place!

It's our first time to visit Siargao island, and a little tight when I booked Jhemarie's place. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend her place to those who are looking for a unit where you can cook your own meals while enjoying the relaxing environment around the area. Though it's far from the central area, you can immediately hire a transport service around. 🙂
