Vacation rentals with a pool in Gazi

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Der Aussenbereich ist einfach perfekt, tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten, mega Pool auch für Kids und mit dem Spa Whirlpool einfach ein Paradis! Nicht zu vergessen diesen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang 🤩 Nicht nur die Unterkunft ist Perfekt, auch die Gastgeber, Maria und Savas sind tolle Gastgeber! Freundlich und Zuvorkommend, und immer erreichbar! Sie haben Spielsachen für meinen Sohn gebracht und Trotz der heftigen Herausforderung mit dem Saharastaub, haben sie alles dafür getan, dass wir unseren Urlaub zu 100% genießen können 😊 Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch auf Kreta und bei Maria 🥰 Danke für alles!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa war einfach unvergesslich! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Herrn Georgios empfangen, der sich viel Zeit genommen hat, uns alles in Ruhe zu erklären. Man spürt sofort seine Liebe zum Detail und zur Gastfreundschaft. Die Aussicht ist ein echtes Highlight: Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über das glitzernde Meer – wie gemalt! Morgens mit diesem Ausblick aufzuwachen und abends den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser zu genießen, war einfach magisch. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich – man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Die Villa selbst ist top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Ein Ort zum Träumen und Abschalten – wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Une magnifique escapade en Crête dans un super logement. Charikleia sera toujours là pour vous que ce soit pour répondre à vos questions, pour vous donner de bonnes recommandations et même passant apporter quelques douceurs traditionnelles. Le logement est très bien situé calme et reposant avec tout le matériel pour être à l'aise durant le séjour. Vous avez à proximité même pas 5 minutes à pied une petite supérette et à 10 minutes à pied la plage et de petits restaurants (attention début novembre seulement 4 restaurants ouverts). Pour vous rendre à Elafonisi ou Balos prévoyez 3h10 et 3h45 de route. Pour une famille de trois nous avons vraiment appréciés ce logement largement vivable en famille. La piscine est un réel plus. Ce fût de superbes vacances et je vous conseille vraiment ce logement. Encore merci pour votre amicalité et votre générosité. Merci de nous trois !

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

Dit zeer proper en ultramodern vakantieverblijf overtrof al onze verwachtingen! Zulk hartelijk persoonlijk ontvangst door de eigenaars. Een goed gevulde ijskast bij aankomst, net zoals fruit, koffie en versnaperingen. Prachtig groot privézwembad. Fantastisch luxueus genieten in alle comfort met comfortabele ligzetels en badjassen/-sleffers. Het was perfect voor ons, raden het zeker aan en komen ongetwijfeld snel terug!

compleet huis met alles er in wat nodig is, te veel zelfs als je bedenkt wat er allemaal bij zat (fruit kruiden, olie, jam, boter,...) je kon er zo in,. en dan het dorpje met aardige, behulpzame mensen, auto is wel een vereiste, anders kom je nergens.

An outstanding location in a beautiful development. A beach with crystal clear waters, and a beautiful pool. This is a perfect home for either two small families, or a larger family with "in-law" space. The balcony views are spectacular.

We loved this home. The huge terrace and view are so amazing. We spent lots of time on the nice patio furniture outside enjoying it. We also loved the pool. You can walk to a few spots in the area for dinner and we really enjoyed the patio bar at the hotel next door. Fun spot. Across the street was Pegasus Dive and boat rental. It was so nice to walk there and rent a small boat to see the town from the water. The town is really nice and the perfect size place to explore. We spent a week here and another week in Chania area. Thanks for sharing your home. I would highly recommend it

Wir haben uns bei Diogenis sofort wohl gefühlt. Nach einer verspäteten Anreise war es kein Problem später einzuchecken. Die Kommunikation war schnell und einwandfrei. Der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer war ein Traum und die Betten sehr bequem. Wir haben alles gefunden, was wir gebraucht haben und hatten eine tolle Zeit in Diogenis Apartment. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Herzlichen Dank 😊

Smaller than the space appears to be in the photos but clean and well appointed. Danielle, our host, was helpful, a great communicator, and accessible. Great to be able to communicate easily when out of country. The pool is small, good for refreshing only. Be prepared for 3 flights of steep stairs to gain entry.

isla luxary Appartement hält was der Name verspricht. Als Familie mit mehren Generationen hatten wir die Pool- Wohnung gemietet, die sehr modern, geschmackvoll, großzügig und komfortabel war. Die großen Schlafzimmer verfügen über gepflegte, saubere Badezimmer mit genügend Handtüchern. Die Betten sind extrem bequem mit regelmäßig gewechselt Bettwäsche. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung größer als sie auf den Fotos wirkt und hat uns damit freudig überrascht. Wir benötigten für unser Baby eine Extra-Austattung, die qualitativ hochwertige war. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich.Der absolute Traum ist der architektonisch perfekt angelegte Aussenbereich mit hochwertigen, bequemen Mobiliar und gepflegten Pflanzen. Die professionelle Reinigung wird früh morgens durchgeführt und der Pool erscheint stets blitzsauber. Bei Fragen und wetterbedingten kleineren Problemen war Stamatis schnell und sachkundig zur Stelle, so dass wir uns stets gut aufgehoben fühlten. Ein besonderer Urlaub in besonderem Ambiente!

Great family-run place in Crete. The food at the taverna is AMAZING, and there’s always a daily special which was the highlight of the menu. Huge apartment, ocean views, easy access to drive to several beaches in the area.

Our family of 4 had a great time at the villa Feronia. Catherine and Manolis left wine and beer in the fridge as well as all the basics needed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry corner. The Garden and the pool area is duper nice and well equipped too. As the weather was cool end of October, we used the jacuzzi instead of the pool. Arrival and departure were smoothly organized. Catherine reacted promptly whenever we had a question. We would definitely come again !

Thank you Mark and Maria you have a beautiful place I can recommend it to anyone. I did enjoy my holiday in your apartment which is close to main high street with shops and restaurants and had everything I needed while being away. My bed was clean and comfortable in the kitchen there were all utensils and cooking equipment to make my own meals.

Wer einen ruhigen Ort zum abschalten sucht, ist hier absolut richtig! Der Ausblick von der Unterkunft über die Weinberge und Olivenhaine ist atemberaubend schön und das erste, auf das ich mich morgens gefreut habe. Es gibt nichts, was dich hier stört! Die Unterkunft ist hochwertig ausgestattet, sehr sauber, hat eine lautlose Klimaanlage in jedem Wohnraum, tolle Betten - wirklich absolut toll!! Es gibt 2 kleine Supermärkte und soweit ich sehen konnte 2 Gaststätten und ein Café in direkter Umgebung des Hauses. Wir selbst waren im Ort abends nur 1 Mal essen und sind ansonsten immer mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs gewesen, weil wir dort mehr Sehenswertes für uns fanden. Einen Mietwagen würde ich auch dringend empfehlen um mobil zu sein. Vielen Dank, Christina, für diesen schönen Urlaub in deinem tollen Haus! ❤️

Nie mogłem być bardziej zadowolony z mojego pobytu w domu wynajmowanym od Panosa w urokliwym Pompia, Grecja. To było prawdziwe doświadczenie, które zasługuje na najwyższe oceny. Dom był niezwykle przestronny i urządzony z niezwykłą dbałością o szczegóły. Czystość i porządek panowały we wszystkich zakątkach, co sprawiło, że czułem się jak w raju od pierwszego dnia. Ponadto, doskonale wyposażona kuchnia umożliwiła mi przygotowywanie własnych posiłków w wyjątkowej atmosferze. Jestem niezwykle wdzięczny za możliwość spędzenia czasu w tym uroczym domu i z całą pewnością polecam go każdemu, kto planuje wyjazd do Pompia. Dziękuję Panosowi za niezapomniane wspomnienia!

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung von Manolis sehr wohl gefühlt. :o) Sie ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche ist umfassend ausgestattet. Zu Fuß kann man den kleinen Ortskern erreichen, wo es viele Restaurants gibt. Abgesehen davon hat Manolis auch schöne Tipps in der Umgebung. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können die schöne Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank, lieber Manolis.

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

We had an amazing stay here, 6 adults and 2 babies. The villa is beautiful and we really appreciated the separate baby pool and children's toys, as well as being provided with a travel cot and high chairs for both babies. Eleni was a great host, she was very responsive and organised a cleaner to come half way through the stay which was great. The location is good as it isn't in the main town. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants and bars in Piskopiano and Koutouloufari, the first 5 minutes of the walk is uphill. We hope to return next year!

Lily ist eine wunderbar warmherzige Person, die uns vom ersten Augenblick begeistert hat. Wir wurden super mit Tipps und kulinarischen Leckereien versorgt. Das Cottage und der Garten war sehr schön. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100%.

The best villa there is. Host were very very accommodating and kind, once of the best people you’ll meet. They gave us a welcoming meal and it was delicious beyond words. We will definitely highly recommend and come back in the future. Thank you again for the great stay. ❤️

We had such a lovely stay at Manolis’ house. Our family of 7 (incliding a 2 & 5 year old & my 75 yo mom) all loved our visit. Manolis met us and gave us such a warm welcome with so many local tips and recommendations. It was even more beautiful then the photos and full od beautiful family heirlooms. The village of Amari is beautiful and peaceful and the villa is perfectly located in the middle of the village right next to the taverna. The views are amazing, the pool an numerous patios are gorgeous with stunning views and it is so peaceful and private. There were so many lovely complementary foods from the local vendors on arrival which made us feel right at home. Rumy cooked us the most amazing meals we had in the region that were so incredibly delicious! Do not miss her meals! She modified multiple dishes for our dietary restrictions. She is truly a masterful chef and such a wonderfully warm person. Our kids loved the home, pool, outdoor cats & Rumy! Everyone was so kid friendly!
