The beautiful family-run farm sits atop its own hill, overlooking the Merse river valley. The estate is spread over two thousand acres of land covering fairy tale woodlands, fantastic cypress avenues, holm oak and cork oak trees, fields of wheat, barley, sunflowers and maze, and groves of 3,000 olive trees from which a delicious DOP extra virgin olive oil is made. Each farmhouse has been renovated in great detail, the style, décor and charm of Montestigliano make it a special and unique destination for a wonderful, enjoyable and most importantly memorable holiday. The farm offers traditional Tuscan cooking classes and olive oil tastings, starlit dinners, pizza feasts and in-house private catering or massage services. This is our newest conversion, formerly home to Emilio, one of the old sharecrop farmers on the estate who knew and understood the land like the palm of his hand. The house has been restored with passion and respect for traditional Tuscan architecture, the charm and character of the old farmhouse is enhanced with modern Italian design to offer guests a delightful and private getaway at any time of year. Casa Emilio, with its two double ensuite bedrooms, stands independently on the edge of the hill, just a couple of minutes from the main square and swimming pool. It is a haven of peace and quiet facing west, overlooking the rolling woodlands punctuated with cypress and umbrella pine trees. The large airy open-plan kitchen/living room has a glass paned wall with sliding doors that open onto a private fully furnished terrace with working fireplace. The perfect refuge from the hustle and bustle of the everyday, where you can catch the last rays of sunshine while sipping on a cool glass of prosecco.

Pieve di Caminino Historic Farm

Solo per amanti della natura. L'antica fattoria Pieve di Caminino, biologica, è un importante sito storico: ex pieve medievale sorta all'incrocio di due strade romane, ospitò due santi (la chiesa del XII secolo è oggi un museo privato, visitabile dagli ospiti, su appuntamento). Oggi copre 200 ettari di proprietà privata recintata, posta su una collina panoramica. Sette alloggi condividono una tenuta con piscina (stagionale), due laghetti, un uliveto centenario, vigneto e una foresta di sughere.

Its panoramic rooftop boasts an incredibly breathtaking view all over the town.
