In the main cabin there is a stove, fridge and freezer, outdoor kitchen with charcoal grill, and place to sit inside and outside on the terrace with awning. 1/5-30/9 there is water for the outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower with hot water. Both toilet and outdoor toilet are on the property. A simple but comfortable and pleasant accommodation. You have access to the dock and can borrow our two canoes. There are heating elements in the cottage and the sleeping house as well as a fireplace in the cottage if it gets cold outside.

Welcome to Grindstugan in Högbo. This small, newly-renovated house is located in the countryside just under 2 km south of Högbo Bruk in Sandviken. In Högbo, there is a plethora of different activities such as cross-country skiing, paddle tracks, MTB, canoeing, swimming, coffee and restaurant. The center of Sandviken is less than 5 km away. Here you will find shopping, grocery stores, the popular adventure pool Parkbadet, Göransson arena and several restaurants. Grindstugan is also only a 30-minute drive from Kungsberget ski resort.

Stay on a farm

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. The house, which is over 100 years old, has much of its original decor left. A home for you who appreciate the simple and who want to spend time with the family outdoors and together. Light a fire in the wood stove in the morning, take a dip in the pool or a sauna after a walk in the woods. The Dalälven river is 1 km down the road with a swimming jetty. The farm's animals often walk freely so it is possible to socialize closely with dogs, cats, chickens, horses and sheep.

The cottage is located right by Testeboån, about 2 meters from the veranda. It is possible to both swim and fish, or sit in the sunset and look out on the water. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wi-Fi, TV and parking are included. It is possible to borrow a washing machine, charge an electric car or rent the sauna, for a small fee. If you want to visit Gävle, there are bike paths, or you can take the bus from the bus stop, which is within 200 meters. During the summer, we sell vegetables.
