An absolutely amazing house!! Large, high ceilings, with a wonderful chalkboard that the kids used extensively and a large, wonderful kitchen!! Lots of room for everyone to hang out or get away, nice furniture, beautiful colors, a wonderful, large hall, good bedroom and a really cool bedroom that the kids really loved (with a double bunk bed!). The plot was also absolutely wonderful, with football goals, hammock, dart board lovely outdoor furniture and a large lawn and a lot of sun. We were two families spending a weekend here to just hang out and enjoy, which we did too!! Can really recommend this house if you want to get a big, genuine, different house!

Very nice and peaceful place. Pleasantly surprised when we were told that there is hot water👌. Helpful and always responsive Kavita - really nice. Nice cabin, cozy, no trouble with internet. Big fish in nearby lake!

Anders and Johanna were wonderful hosts. The house was quaint, warm and cozy. I traveled to Hogbo searching for family descendants. Johanna connected me with people in town who also tried to assist me. Everyone was so kind and friendly making my trip special and memorable.

The hosts were super nice and friendly. The place was so cozy and exceeded our expectations! When we arrived they had bought fruit and other dairy products for us which was super nice and appreciated! The pictures don't give fair to the home, it's much cozier in real life. Their dog is also super cozy and we are happy that our dog got to play off a bit. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 5 nights as we were attending a drag-racing event at nearby Tierp Arena which was a very easy 20 mins in the car so it was a perfect location for us. The house is quirky and old and a bit worn but cosy as well. It really is in a very peaceful spot on the edge of a small beautiful village which had a very interesting past as a local steel works with all of the old buildings still standing - great history and all the red wooden buildings made you feel like you were in a little Amish village! We saw virtually no-one while we were there BUT we only used it as a base and to sleep as we were out during the daytime. One thing I would wish for would be a hairdryer (had to dry my hair using the car air vents) and a bath towel each. Neither of these were advertised so it wasn't like they were missing but as we were travelling light and didn't have room for these, they would have been useful for us. English Netflix on the TV was handy. Would definitely return.

The cottage is spacious, cozy and has everything you can wish for a relaxing stay. It is located right by the river, perfect for sitting on the terrace and enjoying the tranquility. The sauna was a real highlight, and the location is convenient with just a few minutes walk to the bus. The very best was the hosts anyway: so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We felt genuinely welcomed. We would be glad to come back!

We only spent one quick night resting on our way back, but the cottage fully met our needs. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. Thank you so much for accepting my dog.

We had a pleasant stay! Jim was an exceptional host, very warm and attentive, which made our arrival and stay even more enjoyable. The space is beautiful, perfectly as described, with a welcoming atmosphere and all the comforts you need. The village, on the other hand, is charming and full of character, ideal for relaxing and discovering the area. We'll be happy to go back!
