Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gatineau

Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

We had a great time at Sasha’s cottage! We loved the coffee bar and thank Sasha for the extra coffee pods she left for our group. We also took advantage of the 2 massage chairs and the chi machine she left at our disposal. All these extra touches added to our experience and we felt pampered with everything in the house. Thank you for the hospitality, we would love to come back again!

It was a great place. We walked into a clean and cozy house. Beautiful beach area right on the river. Enjoyed a good meal at the Pointe down the road. We would stay again!

We were a masters xc ski team in for some races and the House and Host were amazing. The house was cozy; they had the fire going for our arrival and the kitchen was set up to cook for our large group. The host was very attentive to help us get to where we needed to go during the snow storm, digging us out every day. The house had a wonderful character about it and made us all feel comfortably at home. We will rent this place again for our next trip/race to the area.

Chalet très convivial pour une petite famille avec une grande salle de séjour bien éclairée. Bien orienté pour peu sentir la présence d'autres voisins et profiter de la nature. L'accès à la rivière Gatineau est un atout majeur.

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

Jane’s cabin was perfect for our family getaway! We enjoyed the view of the water and taking long dog walks in the bush. Sitting in front of the log fire with my coffee was my favourite thing. Jane was very responsive and helpful letting us check in early. We highly recommend Jane’s cabin. We had a fabulous stay.

Had the most amazing time at this Airbnb for a retreat-style birthday weekend! The place had so much charm and character—it felt like we were tucked away in our own little world. Super cozy vibes all around, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were incredible—friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great stay. Communication was smooth from start to finish, which made planning the whole thing a breeze. Can’t recommend this place enough for groups looking to relax, reconnect, and celebrate in comfort. Would absolutely book again!

Mostafa is a very nice host and responds quickly if you need anything during your stay. The mini-suite was as seen on pictures and as described. Mostafa's house is in a rural area, ideal if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

The place was great. Spacious and comfortable. Fairly quiet. We were there during a snowstorm and the host helped with clearing snow and getting us out of a ditch. Highly recommend.

I am a repeat guest at Suzanne's place because I love the peaceful natural setting, the charming apartment, and the off the beaten path feeling I get there. It is one of my homes away from home.

Beautiful lakeside location. Cozy, well-equipped cottage. We spent a very relaxing long weekend and came back to the city feeling very fortunate to have found Krystal's place, and very refreshed as well. We had one minor issue with a missing piece for a paddle board and Krystal sorted it out immediately with the part in question arriving on the following day. Lac Bataille is a spectacularly beautiful lake. Our location mid-lake meant that we could explore the whole lake easily, by kayak and paddle board, and by walking on the quiet roads. We hope to return soon.

My partner and I loved our stay here. The sauna is new and peaceful. The outdoor shower has heated water and a fun experience. There is a great stock of movies and boardgames and Karl had good recommendations for things to do around. We did a few beautiful fall hikes. We loved our stay so much we extended it for a day. We cannot wait to come back.

Such a great spot! Quiet, cozy and straight forward with everything needed for a relaxing and genuine rural Canada experience. A perfect place for a couple to get away and enjoy! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was incredibly cozy and spotless, and we really appreciated how well-maintained everything was. The owner was also fantastic – very friendly and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. The only thing we felt was missing was an indoor fireplace, which would have made the experience even cozier. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Domaine Labrador. Nous sommes une famille avec deux jeunes enfants et un petit chien. Le site nous a permis de décrocher de la routine, de se relaxer et de profiter d'un grand site très sécuritaire avec les enfants pour s'amuser dans la neige. Hélène nous a répondu rapidement à nos questions, nous a donnés des détails pertinents pour le séjour et a été très accueillante à notre arrivé. Le chalet était magnifique et très propre. Je recommende fortement cet endroit.

Nous avons apprécié la vue sur le lac et les feux de bois en fin de journée. Petite plage a proximité pour se baigner. J’avais cru qu’il y avait un paddle et un canot (car figurant sur les photos) mais effectivement pas dans la description des équipements. Ca aurait ete un vrai plus!

We went to Ruben’s cottage for our daughter’s first christmas in 2024. The place was private, cute & cozy for 4-5 ppl. The host is very prompt in responding to our doubts (even though they are mentioned in the description). The location is 30 mins away from parc omega. I had requested to put up some Christmas decor for our daughter and Ruben was kind enough to accomodate the request. the living room was beautifully lighted up and well decorated. To our surprise, we found christmas presents for us below the tree. Note : the location in the google map is little inaccurate. It took us 50 metres farther. We checked with the host before we could spot the cottage. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for my family and would definitely recommend.
