Really great cottage! We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Our family truly needed a getaway, we sadly had an unexpected death in the family and needed some time away from the “real world”. Gilles’ cottage was a blessing, it had everything we needed and more, tons of space for our toddler and dog to play, the views of the lake were spectacular. The grocery store and SAQ were a short ten min drive away as well. Thank you Gilles for sharing your space with us, we hope to come back in the summer.

We had a great stay at Tracy’s place. We went there right after the winter storm, roads were cleaned and access was clear. We had everything we needed. We loved having the entertainment and games in the cottage. The area was peaceful and less than hour from Gatineau National Park.

Beefy thing was great! Julie and Seb were very responsive and welcoming! Everything was exactly as described! I loved it definitely will come back!! Thank you very much!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! We loved our stay at Susan and Chileab's cottage! It was beautiful, clean and so cozy. When we arrived, there was a lovely welcome package with snacks and wine, which was such a nice touch. Susan and Chileab were very responsive and gave clear instructions on how to get there and check in. I loved sitting by the fire and reading all day! It was the perfect place to disconnect, relax and recharge for a weekend. We'll definitely be back!

Sébastien's Cottage was beautiful, very clean, peaceful with great views. lots of games for adult and kids alike. my 6 year old had lots of fun with so many toys. the place was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 8 people easily. kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils to cook meals for us. backyard is big enough to games during daytime and nice campfire time in evening. the best part is to wake up with most gorgeous sunrise. I would definitely recommend his place to anyone.

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Enjoy if you do book in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s cottage. It had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend getaway. We sat on the dock and enjoyed the quiet lake even if it was during the winter. Will definitely be coming back in the summer or in the fall. Laura was responsive and a great host. Thanks again :)

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

The location was beautiful and very peaceful, host was accommodating and very friendly/responsive. Lots to do at the cottage to keep you busy for the weekend, would def recommend.

Fantastic! We loved our stay. The cottage was very comfortable and fully stocked with anything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub that looks over the lake during the day and the bright stars at night. We took our morning coffees on the deck also looking over looking the lake and the evenings inside watching movies by the wood stove. We felt at home and had a great weekend away.

This place is simply magical. So much attention to detail and not just Indoors about also in the outdoor space. The home is cozy and the sunsets are divine. My family stayed there for Easter and played games, threw the football around, and fed the goats. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend (and I’ve stayed in.a lot of airbnbs internationally). Even if you are local to Ottawa, you will feel as though you have taken a vacation at this space!

The house was fully equipped with all the essentials and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was warm, spacious, and welcoming, providing a truly supportive atmosphere. The hosts were very responsive and attentive, making the experience even better. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in!

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.
