Monthly Rentals in Gastard

We have had a wonderful time exploring the Cotswolds region, and using Veronique’s cottage as our base. The cottage is a delight – tastefully furnished, with all the kitchen utensils in place to prepare a meal, and enough room for us (accompanied by our 3y old toddler and dog) to feel right at home. Corsham is a charming, small town – with nice restaurants and caffes, that was worth exploring for a couple of days. Bath is a 30 min rive away and within a 1h drive, other nice picturesque towns can be reached. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Lovely place. Private and very quiet. Felt right at home. Accommodation is modern with trendy furnishings. Added extras a thoughtful addition. Host was responsive. Appreciated the information file with clear descriptions of what was included in the accommodation. Liked that the owner recycle, consider the environment and allergies. Would definitely recommend The Shop to friends.

Such a great stay—10/10! The location was perfect, really easy to walk into town. The place had everything you’d need, plus nice extras like coffee, tea, milk, and even a personal postcard with restaurant recommendations, which was a lovely touch. The bed was insanely comfy, and Charlotte was super responsive and helpful—couldn’t do enough for us. Would 100% stay again!

Katherine was a great host, she was responsive and it was very easy to get into her place with the lockbox. The kitchen was well equipped and the little gifts were thoughtful and welcoming. Her place is really well situated for all Corsham amenities and a good starting point for walks. Several great cafes very close by. Would recommend.
