The spacious living with spacious Chesterfield sofa overlooks the Winsumerdiep. Onderdendam is a beautiful village 12 km away from the city of Groningen and has a protected village view. Our 2-pers. Canadian canoe and our 3 bikes are available for rent for a reasonable price.

The accommodation, with its own entrance, has been recently renovated and is completely furnished for a comfortable stay. During the summer, the spaces are wonderfully cool and cozy during the winter. The accommodation is within walking distance ( 5 min.) from the station ( train + bus). During our start of the Pieterpad we stayed overnight at Paul's. Simple and fast communication and a very friendly welcome. We got a clear explanation about the room. Then we checked on the horses and cuddled with the dogs. Wonderful sleep and showered. And at the agreed time a delicious breakfast. You can indicate what you want, so little waste. And there is even a doggy bag so you can take something with you on the go. The accommodation is quietly located about 15 minutes' walk from the cozy center of Winsum. In short: friendly, clean, good bed, delicious breakfast, nice dogs, quiet and a beautiful sunset. Paul, thank you for all the good care!

Your host is extremely friendly and helpful! It is extremely good value for money... fabulous 24 hour gym too. Not much to do in the neighbourhood and the best part of an hour to walk to the town centre.

Ideal stopover during our cycling holiday! Ilse and Lars are super friendly. Communication was super smooth. The accommodation was just fantastic! The location is also ideal, you enjoy the tranquility but you are directly back in the center of Groningen.
