We had a very pleasant stay at Himalayan Hues. The entire place exudes homely, cosy vibes! The family is extremely nice and helpful. Our room was very tastefully decorated, extremely spacious and had all the necessary amenities one would need (except shampoo). It is located around a 25 min drive away from the main MG road market, which we liked because it is a bit away from the hustle and bustle. We had a breakfast and dinner meal at the property and the food was delicious.

The place is absolutely breathtaking. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with the majestic Kanchenjunga greeting us every morning—a view that feels surreal. The hosts are incredibly warm and attentive, making sure every need is met. The terrace with its stunning views is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a bonfire. Passang, the caretaker, is a true gem. Her cooking is fantastic, and her thoughtfulness really stood out—she even gave me medicine when I wasn't feeling well, going out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. If you're visiting Gangtok, this is the perfect place to stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Mr. Chandra’s place in Gangtok! He was constantly in touch with us ensuring a smooth arrival. His warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The room was cozy, spotless, and perfect for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the absolutely wonderful home-cooked dinner — delicious, wholesome, and made with so much care. Very nice stay we had here, room had all the ameneties including a bed warmer. there was a cute little balcony with gangtok city view below you. colder and more peaceful then the city center. Caretaker Manju didi was the most proactive host i have ever came accross. she double checked every thing before giving us the room, always available for help, food was homely and delicious. definetly a 5 star hospitality.

This Airbnb (Karma casa) was an outstanding stay! The place was impeccably clean, and the host's hospitality was truly exceptional, making my time in Gangtok, Sikkim incredibly enjoyable. It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

We had a wonderful stay at Sonam's place in Gangtok! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and suggest places to visit around the city. The caretaker, Nima, was outstanding—always available and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was delicious, homely, and very affordable—just what we needed after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga right from the property—absolutely mesmerizing! It was one of my best stays. Calm and cozy place. The host leon is a great friend and a gem of a person. His passion for everything including the hospitality is just home away from home. The places and squeaky clean lashed with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The staff too are really polite and helpful and available at your service. The location is placed on the town and has an authentic bhutanese restaurant. Must try I would recommend people visiting should definitely consider this place for a hassle free stay and an unforgettable hospitality.

Beautiful and cozy stay. The place was very clean.Loved the drawing room,the large window provides a nice view and in clear days you can see Kanchenjungha too. There were quite a nice collection of books. The property has a few dogs which was certainly a plus point for me 🤗 Check-in and checkout process was hassle free. Kitchen was well equipped, complimentary coffee,tea,milk,noodles,chips were provided. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

We had the most perfect BNB experience. Place was spotless with a great view. The house was excellently designed and furnished. The location is great too - just a short walk to MG mart and nice restaurants. Swiggy delivery was also available. Overall, a highly recommended stay in gangtok

It was lovely, I booked it for a family short vacation. Well equipped, spacious, clutter free, and clean. It is the best for family or big groups. Location is safe and reachable for services like zomato etc. Host is friendly and responsive, I got all the details proactively. Overall Positive from all POVs.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.
