It's real treasure to stay here and experience the serenity of this place. Thanks to sachin , kachyo and Pemit for having me and to have this deep and beautiful experience. From amazing mountains around, hot water spring to authentic stay, hospitality here, organic food grown in farm around and intense moment at Gompa, everything is amazing and wonderful. Couldn't stop myself from staying for another 2 nights.

I had a lovely stay at Sangdup's countryside homestay in the hills of Upper Dzongu. There are walkable trails and the surrounding is quite nice and peaceful. The altitude of the place is lower than that of Gangtok, so it's not as cold and high-altitude-exotic/stunning as some of the other North Sikkim tourist destinations, but I enjoyed the vibe of being in nature. Sangdup and his family are quite helpful and try to create a good experience for you. It's worth noting though that in order to reach the homestay you have to climb some 130 stairs. Everytime you need to go down for a car ride or for a hike you have to climb stairs.

We had a lovely stay at this super spacious 3-bedroom country house set within beautiful, expansive grounds. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and the architecture was truly stunning. The location is peaceful yet convenient, just a short drive from Kalimpong. One day we even made the scenic trip to Darjeeling, which was absolutely worth it, though we were glad to return to the tranquility of the cottage. The surrounding area is rich in history and culture. We visited nearby Tibetan monasteries, which felt very special, and even explored St. Mary’s School, founded by a Scottish man,such a fascinating bit of heritage. Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

We recently had the privilege of staying at Green Hamlet, a mountain villa, nestled amidst the stunning peaks, Green Hamlet is exactly like shown in the photos. It is really beautiful with spacious rooms and washrooms, perfect for a family get together. The villa itself was beautifully designed with a blend of modern comforts and traditional architecture. The interiors were spacious, with large windows allowing us to fully appreciate the surrounding landscape. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff ensured that all our needs were met promptly. The highlight of our stay was the tranquility that enveloped the villa, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hospitality was top notch and the staffs were attentive. Even the food made was tasty. Prabha went above and beyond to assist with always helpful and enthusiastic, created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like family. This bungalow is one of the iconic buildings of yesteryears Kalimpong The bungalow is beautifully kept, restoring old bits and parts and modernizing them for daily comfort. We loved the simple decor, massive open garden and the food The chef and the manager in site are extremely courteous and helpful. We were a family of 7 and we were very well taken care of. Rita personally came and met us, and gave us a hand baked cake and muffins. The location is serene, quite and peaceful. The rooms are very well equipped and clean. And the staff is there throughout. For sure, one of our best ever stays
