I had an outstanding experience working with Curtis! He was committed to making our rental process smooth and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to communicating to ensure we had everything we needed. Curtis made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. The location was great!! The house was nice and clean. Will definitely return!

At The Beach- Beautiful Ocean View Condo #9204
We had a great stay for a long weekend, over Easter, with our two young kids. Kathy was extremely communicative and provided easy instructions! We had no issues with check in. The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The beach was just a quick walk across the street. The pool was very loud, but the security guard was great about making sure people were quiet and out of the pool at 10pm. Overall a great value for a quick getaway. Lived up to all of my expectations! Thank you Kathy!

Beachfront Resort~Top Floor~Sunrise~Ocean View~W&D
Stayed at this location before but not this condo. Owner responded quickly and had things already set up for us. We enjoyed the stay.

Sunny Beachfront Condo
Very nice condo and amazing views. The parking and luggage carts were easy to find. The checkin/checkout receptionists were a little condescending and seemed to look down on the Airbnb guests (vs the owners). The condo itself was very beautiful and the amenities + beach view were fantastic. The whole family Loved this area.

Ocean Front Home with Private Beach Access
Haley is a great host! She has been quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating. The house was well equipped, very comfortable, and the proximity to the beach was great! This is definitely on our list of "would do it again".

Just Beachy at the Pass- Beachfront property
Location, location, location. This was perfect for us to spend time in both Galveston and Freeport. The peace and privacy of this place were perfect. Just a few steps to the beach it was great. Melanie and Daryl

Beach life
I cannot rave enough about this place!! From being so accommodating to what I needed, to the outdoor shower (might just be my FAVORITE past about this home, which says a lot) ...being so responsive and quick to respond to me.....the comfortable, safe location.....just to start!!! I love this place and will stay every single time it is available!!! Thank you Kristin and crew, for making my stay perfect, every time.

Beachfront Beauty - Right On The Beach!
Dana’s place was perfect for a girls trip! Four of us stayed very comfortably. We all loved it there and felt right at home! The place was clean, had comfortable furniture and beds, and the walk to the beach was so easy! The views from both inside the condo and off the balconies were amazing!! We also really enjoyed the pool. Another positive is that it was easy getting from the car to the condo as it was right across from the stairs or you could take the close elevator. We would definitely stay at Dana’s place again!
Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Galveston

Once Upon A Tide *Hot Tub*dogs ok walk to beach
Very comfortable and clean place! Loved having the hot tub to relax in at the end of every night! Would definitely recommend!

Beachfront, Pet-Friendly, Ocean Views
Great house and location and terrific communciation from the get go. Everything as expected and Cheyenne was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Will stay here again!

House for Waves *Dogs stay FREE* 1/2 mi to beach
I think the best way to describe this cottage is by describing what you can’t see in the pictures. 1. The beds are amazingly comfortable. 2. Ever have a problem with sleeping in during vacations bc of the light flooding into rooms at sunrise? Not here. The king room doesn’t have a window🩷. I am adding this in here because I know that so many will appreciate this feature. 3. The backyard is truly a den of privacy. The most skittish dog will feel comfortable & there are no neighboring dogs to amp up their anxiety. 4. The location! During our stay, I let my oldest teenager walk to the beach by herself in the morning. She felt safe at all times, and didn’t tire easily. 5. The plants! While you can see the beautiful, well kept lawn…you have to experience it to see the butterflies linger and flutter about. Bottom line- if you are on the fence about this place…go for it. I have never been so impressed with a stay (hotels included), in all of my years adulting.

Fetching, cozy home, Sleeps 4! Pet&kid friendly!
This was a great stay! Everything was clean and as stated. The list of local stores, etc. was super helpful. The place was very clean. We had a fantastic time if I could give him 10 stars I would. If we ever return to the area will definitely seek out this host again. our friends had a rental down the street and even though it was bigger, this was far superior very very happy with our stay

Gorgeous Pet-friendly Bungalow 2 Minutes to Sand
Had a great stay. Great communication with Alex and Tony, fast responses, even to the late night questions. The house was as described with plenty of room. Laundry room was full of beach items for us to use. The location was perfect, a block from the beach and within walking distance to several restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Vacation at 1904 B. Midtown. Near Beach. Pets OK!
Had a great stay! Place is very nice and still has that vintage feel about it!! Wife and I had a great time!!

Large 5bd Hot Tub w Ocean View, Firepit & Gameroom
Great house steps from the beach. Something to note if traveling with a group the upstairs is a loft and the noise from the kids room upstairs travels. Host was friendly and helpful. A couple of minor issues that would make it a nicer stay but overall great for our family getaway.

That’s What Sea Said ~ HOT TUB & Stunning Bay View
Joslyn was such a great and gracious hostess! The place was clean, convenient and we truly enjoyed our time together for Easter. Thank you! We would love to come back!

Bikes/kayaks, great fishing, fire pit, pickleball!
Love staying here! Kayaking around the bay is really fun, and everything is as described. We caught redfish, black drum, and a ton of catfish right from the deck. Check in and check out is super easy with no unreasonable long to-do lists. Thanks for letting us stay here and being easy to communicate with!

CLEAN! SPACIOUS, fast Wifi, 7min Walk to Beach
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Gloria was super friendly and very fast to respond to my questions before check in. Everything was absolutely wonderful, and I had no reason to contact her after we checked in!!

As seen on HGTV! 2 min walk to beach!
This was the perfect choice for a girl's retreat. The house was beautiful and well maintained, and the location was perfect. We could see the water from the back deck and the beach access was right around the corner. Amy and Casin were both extremely accomadating and very responsive. The AC wasn't working when we arrived, and as soon as I made them aware of the problem, they were working to have it taken care of. The guy was there until 11 pm fixing it, but we got to sleep in the cool air that night, which we appreciated! All around, it was a great stay!

The Phoenician by the Sea

Your guide to Galveston
All About Galveston
Galveston Island is home to the port city of Galveston, which is located off the Gulf Coast of Texas only an hour away from Houston. The island is surrounded by Galveston Bay to the north, the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and West Bay to the west, and it draws visitors to its amusement parks, historic mansions, and museums dedicated to submarines and railroads. Along the coast, the 17-foot Galveston Seawall stretches for 10 miles and is covered in the world’s longest mural. Beyond the seawall, Galveston has more than 32 miles of sandy beaches surrounded by bright blue waters. Saltwater fishing is a popular activity here, with flounder being a popular catch.
Galveston also has an impressive concentration of Victorian architecture to explore. One standout is the Victorian-style Bishop’s Palace residence — a National Historic Landmark in the city’s historic district — which dates back to 1892. Another historical landmark residence, the 1895 Moody Mansion, is decorated in myriad styles, including French Rococo and Classical Revival, which you can see on tours of the grand home. Dig further into Texas history at the Bryan Museum, which offers a chronological exploration of the state spanning more than 12,000 years.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Galveston
The most popular time for booking beach rentals in Galveston is during the summer months when the weather is hot and humid, and the beaches are buzzing. Be mindful of the Gulf’s hurricane season — August to October — and keep an eye on the forecast during this time.
During fall, temperatures here are mild, the humidity drops, and you can learn about the city’s Hellenic heritage at the annual Galveston Greek Festival in October — where you’ll find traditional Greek produce, dancing, and pastries. The winter months are warm enough to enjoy with just a light sweater, and birders can spot migratory species at Galveston Island State Park. Visit between February and March for the third-largest Mardi Gras season in the country, which includes parades and a masked ball.
Top things to do in Galveston
The Strand
The Strand is a five-block historic district in the heart of Galveston with buildings that date back to the 19th century. It’s filled with antique stores, art galleries, Cajun restaurants and oyster bars, and country dance halls. There’s also a life-sized chess board you can play on, parks and green spaces, and a harbor where you can watch the ships come and go. If a historical experience is more your style, check out the Texas Seaport Museum where you can see one of the world’s oldest currently sailing ships, the Elissa.
Bolivar Peninsula
The Bolivar Peninsula is home to a historic lighthouse, protected bird habitats, restaurants with fresh-caught seafood, and 27 miles of beaches to explore. To get here, take the Galveston-Port Bolivar Ferry from Galveston Island to the small town of Port Bolivar. Along the way, you’ll have front-row views of the Gulf and may even be able to spot a dolphin or two during your ride.
Galveston Railroad Museum
Take a deep dive into Galveston’s railway history at this art deco structure from 1932. The Galveston Railroad Museum houses one of the largest collections of trains in the country, including freight cars, diesel engines, and steam engines, some of them still running. The old passenger cars are decked out in style, evoking the golden age of train travel, and there’s a museum cafe for drinks and light bites. A mile-long train ride is available all year, and there’s a holiday-themed service available during the winter months.
