Vacation rentals with a patio in Galle

Where to start.. In my 10+ years on Airbnb, I have never come across a property like this. The hosts and their kids are just exquisite. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cater to your every need. The apartment is brand-new, super clean, and has all the amenities needed at the same time the lush jungle and green surroundings give a very tropical vibe. Working from home cannot be better, more peaceful, and private and with high-speed internet. The family loves to cook a meal for you, so you can keep on working or simply enjoy a relaxing stay. There is also the possibility to rent their scooter or tuk-tuk, make use of the laundry services and enjoy a yoga session on the rooftop deck. It's situated in the middle of the jungle, with monkeys and all kinds of lovely creatures. We love to surf, and with the beach just 5 mins scooter ride away, we felt like we had everything we could dream of. We will be back for sure!:) Thank you Nalaka and family for the wonderful stay!

This place is great! Sonali is so responsive and helpful. The apartment is just as described, clean and well equipped. You do have to pay extra for AC which is needed. The washing machine is wonderful to have and a really nice touch. We would stay again!

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

Had a lovely and relaxing weekend getaway at Gianluca’s beautiful apartment. The place is just a stone’s throw from amazing seafront restaurants and shops, perfectly located in the heart of Ahangama. It captures the town’s calm and quiet charm, while still being lively and entertaining. We woke up each morning to the gentle sound of ocean waves—such a dream. Gianluca was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and full of great local tips that made our stay even better. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Superb place for basing yourself whilst visiting Unawatuna, situated in a great location just on the outskirts of Unawatuna. I found Lotus Bloom excellent for facilities which are required for a short stay or long stay. The neighbourhood is situated in a peaceful residential superb. I found all communications with Numan first class and was always very quick to respond to any queries. I would also like to mention Shalika the caretaker who was always very responsive to my needs in a positive manner. I would defiently recommend Lotus Bloom if your thinking of visiting Unawatuna you will not be disappointed.

Our stay was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel like part of their family. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Several evenings, they prepared mouthwatering traditional dinners for us, each meal bursting with authentic flavors – it was a real treat for our taste buds! What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always ready to assist us with anything we needed, and doing so with a smile. Their hospitality added a special touch to our experience. Even though this is my fourth time in Sri Lanka, this stay has been one of the highlights of my trips. I’ll definitely be returning, as they truly made our vacation even more memorable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience!

Spent 3 nights at Josephine's place. The place was super nice, spacious and had a great roof terrace. In addition, the recommendations were great - here Josephine put together a nice document that you should definitely read through. Also, the price was very fair. I highly recommend it. is a little off the beach but there is a small, cute shop right around the corner and a super delicious family-run restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) within walking distance. For most other things, it's better to take a tuktuk. Here you should definitely pay attention to the recommendation from the document, Anoura was just great :)! My only negative point is that it is a bit close to the railway line and can be a bit noisy at times - but that didn't bother us. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved this villa. It’s so gorgeous and such a relaxing location. We were recommended this villa by some friends and would 100% recommend for anyone to stay here. Amazing staff, and wonderful breakfasts. I hope one day we can come back and stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Lankari. The house is lovely surrounded by nature. I could see stars at night and hear sounds of birds in the morning and during daytime. I needed this kind of runaway from big city to the nature. The only thing I was bothered by are mosquitos. The owner was in touch and communication was easy and friendly. I would recommend the villa for those who needs escape to the nature.

The place exceeded our expectations, it was beautiful, peacful and clean. The garden and pool area were large and beautifully designed rooms are spacious and neat. Hiruni and sajith respected our privacy at all times they were a great help and were there whenever we needed which was great and highly appreciated! The host was easy to reach out to and always available they also helped us book taxis for our trips to and from the villa 💕 The location was great many restaurants close by just a short walking distance you could also see the train passing by through the day from many rooms in the villa which made our stay even more special it was a very unique experience the kids absolutely loved it! I cannot recommend villa noumi enough! I have been to many villas/beach houses in sri lanka this is definitely one of the absolute best!! Thank you and we cannot wait to be back 🥰

Magnificent spacious and beautifully designed heritage home. Responsive and delightful staff. Immaculately clean and spacious. Large grounds. Quiet with sensational private pool. Sarath organized a chef and meals for us and was able up take us out on his tuk tuk. Very nice beach is a 4 minute walk away , safe swimming with a nice surf break a further few minutes walk. Look forward to coming again.

Very cute place to stay in the middle of nature! We even saw some monkeys in the garden one morning. Extremely clean place and very kind host. Highly recommended!

The beach is an easy walk and it is at the quieter end of Hikkaduwa. The main part of town is a nice beach walk or a Tuk Tuk ride away. The birds in the garden are really wonderful. Look out for the Asian Paradise Flycatcher.

Amazing apartment! So close to galle so easy to go for dinner. Nice restaurant/ beach club within walking distance. Aircon was a lovely. plus restaurant was a nice addition for easy lunches/ dinner!

Great little oasis in Weligama, Ananda and his wife Malika were very hospitable. The unit was spacious and had all the amenities one could need, including washing machine, bicycle, cooking utensils, and even hot water in the shower. They also have a small convenience store attached to their home so anything you need is easily available. And especially enjoyed the breakfasts they kindly made for me during my short stay. Would have loved to stay longer if I had more time, hope to be back soon!

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

We had a wonderful stay in Serenity Villa! The grounds are stunning and well-maintained, and the whole place felt very peaceful. The house was clean with all necessary amenities, and the AC works well. There is also a lovely little cat who lives on the grounds and is very friendly! Sarath (the caretaker) was so welcoming and made us feel very at home. Veronika was a quick responder to messages and very flexible with timings for us. Overall, would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We really liked this accommodation! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the communication was excellent throughout our stay. The property is in a quiet area, and the balcony is beautiful—perfect for relaxing. The bed is both cozy and spacious, and the kitchen is very practical. Plus, it's only a 5-minute walk to both the beach and the main street. We would definitely come back again!
