Beachfront vacation rentals in Galle

Chathura’s place is very close to the beach around 8 mnts walking from turtle beach , the famous Hikkaduwa beach is also within walking proximity . The AC can keep you cool in summer & they have kitchen along with basic equipment’s as well . Size of room is decent enough . Free Washing machine is a big plus point , they provide detergent as well. Now the Host Chathura is an amazing fellow , He is a great host with super supportive nature , he greets us with cinnamon Tea & provide all necessary information about the vicinity. He also gave 5% discount for the Water Jars . The biggest Pros I would say is His smile & helping nature as a host . I would definitely recommend him with blind 👁️.

We stayed at this beautiful villa in Sri Lanka with a group of six, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the private swimming pool — perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The villa is located right on the beach, which made for stunning views and peaceful vibes. However, one thing to note is that the sea was too rough for swimming during our stay due to strong waves. So while the beach setting was beautiful, we mostly stuck to the pool for swimming. That said, everything else was excellent, and we had a great time. Highly recommend this villa for a relaxing getaway in Sri Lanka!

It was a pleasure to stay here. We had everything we needed. Nihal helped a lot: with transfers, sightseeing, food, house, etc. We didn't have any problems. He's a great host! I highly recommend it!

We had a Honey moon and New Year in Akain villa. The villa is situated very close to the ocean. We prefer to see sunsets at the beach. The owners are very kind and friendly people. They help us, brought everything what we need. In the eve of New Year Candy and Lakmina organized unforgettable beach party with national food and fireworks for their guests! There is 20 minutes to the fish market by foot. Every Saturday there is the market not far from the villa. We have wonderful time in this house.

We really loved staying here. The house was spacious, nice big bedrooms and beds and the best feature was the pool looking straight onto a clean, empty, beautiful beach. We spent hours on the terrace and in the pool. Martin was always quick to respond and Mr. Sampath and the staff at the villa were always very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the Sri Lanka curry option on the menu was most enjoyable. I’d strongly recommend Villananda to anyone thinking of booking.

True local experience! Dinner was awesome, and the view from the top deck was a delight, plenty of birds,squirrels and monkeys to watch. Excellent value for money. Please note that the location on the map is incorrect - the property is further up and took me about 7-8 minutes to walk to the beach. Own transport would be ideal in this location - I had difficulties with PickMe but kindly the host would source me a tuktuk from the village :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Bianca's place. Everything was so easy and the place is amazing. Bianca and her team were very good communicators and responsive. We spent a lot of time walking on the beach and swimming in the pool and exploring the area along the coast, which was exactly what we wanted (and one big highlight of our trip!) The breakfast provided was great - fresh fruit especially! And we also used the laundry here, which was easy and really nice. We tried many of the restaurants nearby and had a good experience - delicious food! We would love to come back here on our next visit to Sri Lanka. High recommend!

We had an incredible three-night stay at Sahan’s villa in Weligama—honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect: just a short walk or quick tuk tuk ride to amazing surf spots and great restaurants. The villa itself is stunning, with a beautiful pool that was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The interiors were spotless and thoughtfully designed. The air-conditioning worked perfectly (a real bonus in the Sri Lankan heat), the beds were large and super comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern, clean, and luxurious. Housekeeping was top-notch throughout our stay, and the check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been smoother. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay in Weligama.

The White Sand Villa stay will be the highlight of my Trip to Sri Lanka. The Villa was Fantastic with a Pool and just a Few Steps from the white Sand and your the Prive Indian Ocean Lagoon. the Staff was just so Nice took care of all our requests. The Chef just made best food what we wanted. I will recommend this Villa to anyone. Nirasha was Fantastic host.

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. Location was good; walkable to the beach. It is hard to fully explain just how spacious the cottage is - every room is large and well thought out, even the outside veranda is enormous. The children loved the little pool, it was absolutely perfect to end our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you.

We had six lovely days at the villa. It’s right on a quiet beach, and a five minute walk to see the turtles! Sunil’s breakfasts were amazing and he was always willing to help. Would definitely recommend.

Wow.....We stayed for our winter break for two months and it was fantastic. The villa, although a little quirky was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outside areas were fantastic, really good pool and beutifully kept gardens, with direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Gievs was always on hand to give us local information and to resolve any problems that occurred. Having problems reaching the beach due to the sand retracting with the tide he organised wooden steps to make our access easier within day....fantastic. The biggest joy of our stay was the house manager...Sadika who was always on hand to keep the villa pristinely clean and serve the best gin and tonics in Sri Lanka. his mother would come and cook our meals if we wished and honestly, her food was outstanding, beating most restaurant standards in the area. If you’re looking for a private beach with the ocean, this is the place for you! Far from popular tourist spots, you’ll find peace and tranquility here. There are several oceanfront restaurants nearby. The staff is attentive, and excellent breakfasts were included!

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

The home has a fantastic location right on a human beach! The complex of the property is also beautifully designed and invites you to stay there. Truly a special and uniquely designed place to stay!

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

I stayed for two weeks at this beachfront villa in Ambalangoda, and it was an incredible experience. The villa is spacious, with large rooms and plenty of space to relax. Having a parking area was a huge advantage, especially for my rented motorcycle. Denuka, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive. He quickly addressed my requests via WP and ensured a smooth stay. Another highlight was Denuka’s uncle, who spends most of the day near the swing in the front yard. He is incredibly kind and always ready to help whenever needed. Exploring the surroundings by motorcycle was a fantastic experience—I highly recommend it. Overall, this villa is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic getaway. I would definitely stay here again!

This house is idyllic. It’s right by the beach, absolutely beautiful location. It was clean and very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean, good shower pressure. Shani was an amazing host. She responded quickly to any questions (we had a lot) and was extremely pleasant and obliging. Food costs extra but was delicious.

Some of the reviews here made me second guess my booking, but you can't always rely on what you read. That said I LOVED my stay here, it was heaven on earth literally ON the beach. I am traveling through SL solo and this place was a dream, Ravi was so helpful and accommodating, he and I got along very well, (yes he is a bit rough around the edges) but you can't always judge a book by its cover. Ravi went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Erich was amazing as well, his communicaiton was excellent, very responsive. Points: Make sure you discuss price upfront before anything. My only complaint is that Ravi had a bag of laundry done for me and the next day charged me $40 USD!!!! I was floored. I had two bags of laundry done a few days later for $6.50 USD wishing you both all the success ( I have already told 3 people to book with you when they get down South) I hope they do!

We had a wonderful family stay at the villa which was made all the more enjoyable by the excellent care and service provided by the villa staff especially Mervin. Would love to come back.

Incredible garden, views and private balcony space. All staff were super kind, helpful and friendly. Bed is really comfy and the room is really big!

Kosala and his Family were so welcoming to us ! Our children played with his daughters, we felt very at Home.. he was also caring much about keeping our Place clean and comfortable. We are definitely going to miss them! Only one side down was that, even if the location it’s great , meaning you have great restaurants, surf schools , everything is close by, the streets are very loud , you can hear them all day and night. Other than this we are totally coming back to stay with Kosala and his family ! Thank you!!
