House vacation rentals in Gacka

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

You arrive and immediately feel at home. A wonderful, peaceful, very quiet place with a very peculiar flair. The house is perfectly furnished and offers everything you could ask for. The garden is a dream and you are surrounded by a beautiful forest. This was certainly one of the best I've ever booked. This is such a place you never want to leave. The village of Griziane with a shop and a small bar is not far from the house and you are in 10 minutes in Grikvenica on the house beach where there are a number of restaurants and shops. We did a lot and did a lot of explorations and it was beautiful to return to this special place every time. Maya was very responsive and very nice and likeable and she gave us many tips. This place was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL house I have ever been to. There is a private beach/river boat and backyard that has full kitchen and barbecue capacity, and it just feels so surreal to be there right on the riverside. Jasmin was so kind, responsive and accommodating. The house was so clean and spacious. It was perfect for us to have a basecamp to travel to Plitvice. I highly recommend this house to anyone who will be visiting the area. The neighborhood itself is so peaceful and beautiful as well. Please don’t hesitate to book this place!!!!! Absolutely amazing.

Suzanna and her husband are super kind and welcoming, the villa is beautiful with the fireplace and the jacuzzi as an absolute highlight. The area is amazing especially since we stayed here during the winter with lots of snow around us.

Ines was an excellent host. Everything has completely satisfied us. The house is beautiful, with a great pool and quiet location. Perfect for switching off. Ines is always available and very helpful.

Reccomend this stay and in Senj to! We stayed with a 6 8 and 14 year old and they all had a great time. We took nanny with us and the set up of the smaller apartment on ground floor was perfect for that! Thank you again for your wonderful home to stay in.

We had a wonderful week here. Unfortunately, the weather did not play along and we unfortunately could not use the pool - but the hot tub :) Had a great time as a family here. We were also pampered by Laura in a culinary way - thank you for that!

Dragana is a wonderful host. The property is first class, as it has everything that you could possibly want or need plus more. I can say that the photos do not do it justice....it is so much more than you see. Perfect for groups or 3 couples. We loved the convenience to the NP, would have loved to stay longer

Had a great and relaxing holiday at Seahouse Veronika. The privacy and direct sea access made for easy snorkelling and paddleboarding. Stipe and Tomislav (and Stefan - Tomislav's brother) were really helpful.

The place is close to the highway about 10m. A great place to relax while traveling Host great and speaks English very well Very clean rooms, brand new place to stay . Brand new facility Each room has its own toilet Optimal and all comforts when traveling in 6 people. Parking on the property. Absolutely quiet at night. Outdoor seating with a fire pit and grill invites you to sit outside. The house drinker to welcome it wasn't a mistake When traveling in the Balkans, this place was definitely one of the best

We loved our stay at Ljuba's place! She treated us like friends from the very start and helped us with anything we needed. The house feels like stepping back in time and the town looks like a fairytale. It's beautiful and so peaceful. We will be back for sure! <3

We had a mishap with VRBO. We booked Petra’s House River last minute. She was incredibly responsive, informative, and accommodating. The proximity to the National park is 7 minutes. It’s a peaceful, quiet, pristine setting with proximity to local restaurants within 5-10 minutes. Clean and Quaint. Would highly recommend. Thanks again Petra!

it was fantastic! Nikolina was super sweet and friendly. We were greeted personally and with delicious cookies and Raki. The apartment was magical and in a flawless condition. Good location close to Plitvice Lakes national park. Airbnb was clean and met the description. Would recommend if you need a place to stay close to the national park.

The apartment was just like in the pictures – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. The absolute highlight: the balcony with direct sea view – simply fantastic! The location was quiet and great for unwinding. The hosts were incredibly nice and accommodating, we felt completely comfortable from the first moment. We can only recommend the apartment!

My husband and I absolutely loved this gem of a place at the end of our trip across Europe. It was extremely peaceful, private, and comfortable. We rarely heard anything other than the sheep, wind, and bugs buzzing, but the town of Pag was only 15 minutes so we could easily grab groceries and anything else we needed. Ivancica was super friendly and gave us a tour and a fresh homemade Croatian treat that made us feel right at home! We spent most of our time out on the lounge couch in the back yard when not down at the beach. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful peaceful getaway away from people!

Great location, walking distance to the port and beach. Very attentive towards us and responded immediately. Beautiful view from the patio and watched the sunset every night. Thank you for a great stay.

Nice apartment and nice owner. Everything’s clean and neat. The apartment is in 15 mins from Plitvice lakes in rural area. Very quiet and peaceful. Sounds of sheep and hens are so satisfying. Highly recommend this place to rest mind and get rid of big city noises.

We had a two nights stay while visiting Plitvice Lakes. The lakes are 10-15 minutes drive away. Elena’s apartment was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were kindly allowed to keep our motorbike in the garage overnight. All in all a great stay and we’d recommend to anyone.

He and his family were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming to everyone, especially to children. Their friendly attitude made us feel completely at home. They went out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable and enjoyable for us. I truly appreciate their outstanding service, genuine hospitality, and the thoughtful way they interacted with everyone. It was a pleasure to meet such wonderful people.
