Freek and Edith are fantastic hosts and the apartment we stayed in was beautiful - modern, clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. We had everything that we needed. Freek and Edith are lovely, lovely people. They were friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed/wanted. There’s a fabulous BBQ area and outdoor furniture. We loved our stay with Freek and Edith.

The host was attentive to me at all times, always quick to answer any of my questions and very friendly. Her apartment, a 10 out of 10, has everything you need to feel comfortable. Thank you very much. I'm delighted to have stayed in your apartment!

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

We had great 7 night stay, everything is exactly as listed and pictured. Very clean, fantastic kitchen and plenty of fresh coffee beans provided with a high end espresso machine. This is also one of the best areas of Amsterdam to stay in. You’re so close to everything and it’s much more quiet here than in other areas of the city. The projector in the living room is really unique, we enjoyed watching movies on it in the evenings. Great TV in the bedroom as well with blackout curtains in there and it was very quiet. We’d highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity, you won’t be disappointed.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location.. it is in a beautiful local neighborhood but a short walk to everywhere we wanted to be. Stefano was very accommodating and gave some wonderful recommendations. The house had an interesting layout and took some getting used to but we were very comfortable once settled in. On sunny days we enjoyed the back deck area and much more relaxed than trying to find a spot to squeeze in outside of a cafe. I would say it is ideal for an adult couple with children, we had 2 young adults but they were able to find their space as well.. overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Great place in a lovely restored building on a high street that's lively in Steenwijk. Has all modern comforts.

Great place & great host who responded quickly to our questions… easy check in & out…. Great location in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood but within walking distance of stores and even the historic old Kampen… we visit Kampen often to visit family and will also look for her listing…!

We were arriving very late and Alec was meeting us with big smile on his face at 4am and there was cold beers waiting us in the fridge. This was perfect start. Place is great and canal gives something extra for this place. Owner is very helpful and answered very quickly for all our questions. We feel that all in gereral was so nice that 5 stars is too little and therefore we would like to rate our stay 6/5!

This was my first time booking through Airbnb – and it really exceeded my expectations! Vonny is an incredibly friendly and helpful host who is always available for questions or support. The apartment is more spacious than in the photos and very stylish and tastefully furnished – cozy and with a lot of love for detail. The bed is super comfortable, I slept great. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with spices for cooking – perfect for those who like to cook themselves. The residential complex is quietly located and offers a beautiful environment – ideal for relaxing. I was completely satisfied with the stay and would love to come back. I highly recommend the place at Vonny's!

It was a very nice stay. The townhouse is very nicely decorated and everything is well maintained and clean. Harlingen is a very nice town with many restaurants, bars and nice little shops that invite you to stroll. The harbor is very nice too.

Birgit was a fantastic host! Her home was perfect for our quick trip to Amsterdam. It is located close to public transportation (less then 10 minutes to Centraal Station) and a grocery story is around the corner. Birgit showed us around her place and explained how to use different features of the house. She helped map out the easiest routes around the city for us. She was always available and super friendly. We had a great time and cannot wait to visit again.

They allowed us to drop our luggage off early as we landed around 9am. The place was extremely clean and very nice. Perfect place!!

The place was way better than the pictures. Super nice game space. Very large. The pool table was a hit. Everything you needed was there. Sauna is with plunge pool. Everything was neat. Nice extra that there were horses and could pet. Quiet area but with all the facilities you don't necessarily have to leave the cottage. We would recommend it or definitely come back.

We had a brilliant stay at Niel's place. The location was fantastic and Niel was a great host. We'd fully recommend!

All was fine, nice and quiet place in north holland, easy to check-in and out and fast communication.

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

Highly recommended. Previous reviews were accurate and reflective of our experience. Jurrien was excellent, and the location was ideal—just a short tram ride followed by approximately a 10-minute walk from Centraal Station. As is typical in Amsterdam, the apartment featured steep stairs, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues but were otherwise manageable. Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it was well-equipped. The Nespresso machine with capsules was a convenient touch and met our needs perfectly. The apartment was quiet and featured a comfortable bed. The bathroom renovation was completed before our stay, and the space had large windows that provided an abundance of natural light. We rented a car for one day from neighborhood Enterprise, located about a 15-minute walk from the apartment, which was very convenient for our visit to the tulip fields. Dropped off after-hours at Centraal station, easy! We also appreciated the thoughtful dinner recommendations

The place was exactly as described in the description and it was a beautiful house. Right in city centre and Anne Frank house was 2-minutes away. The kitchen had all required amenities and the outdoor space was convenient to relax in. The bedroom and bathroom is on the first floor, and the stairs are a bit steep for a child, but no issues if you are careful and don’t rush when getting down and climbing. The apartment has an antique desk and items like a typewriter and dialling phone, which was a surprise to see. Overall loved our stay and can easily recommend to anyone who wants to stay in city centre close to all main attractions.

Tim & Elizabeth were awesome hosts. When we first arrived, Tim picked us up at the ferry dock and offered to drive us to the grocery if we shopped when we first arrive. They also brought us croissants & orange juice one morning and had us over for drinks the evening before we left. The houseboat is a 15-20 minute walk from the free ferry which takes you directly to the Central Station. There are also a couple groceries and a few restaurants within walking distance. Multiple modes of mode of public transportation are also available. We loved staying here. Located on a quiet canal with numerous houseboats, it was relaxing and peaceful. One of our favorite morning activities was to feed the swans and other water birds that appear outside the siding door; Tim and Elzabeth provide special kibble for them. If you are looking for a quiet place slightly removed from bustle of central Amsterdam, this is ideal!
