Wonderful wonderful host was amazing even met us on site to assist letting in also stocked Complete fridge for food and breakfast with later arrival we couldn't have asked for any more simple instructions on equipment. Also was kind enough to give us a personal tour but more importantly, the children were so hungry we did arrive very late, fridge and freezer fully stocked up with bread cereal eggs all fresh products including fruit absolutely an amazing coast kept us inform of the weather and gave good indication when we would be able to see the most luxurious home more stocked up than most hotels with Bathroom down to the smallest things of a hair bobbles for when you're using the sauna Plenty of towels would have been able to ask for a better stay only issue we wish we stayed longer thank you so much for all that you did for myself and children. It was very very very much appreciated. Will look forward to coming back next year. Take care

Four of our college friends used it.The car was parked at the front door, checked in, and how to use the facilities, and we enjoyed our stay with a short and accurate, and we enjoyed our stay with a short and accurate explanation.I usually live cramped in my apartment life, and it was great to stay in an entire old house without worrying about the next room.First, I switched to a rock bath, and the big man remembered the training camp, but even two people could afford it!Dinner was convenient for restaurant takeout and convenience store nearby.There is a Japanese-style room with a deck where you can decide on dinner.It was the best location overlooking Mt.There were a few rooms, but it was great to have four futons arranged in the main Japanese-style room.I received a work email the next day, but the Wi-Fi environment was also set up, and I was excited that in the future it would be okay for everyone to work on a vacation.I was able to see why the checkout was highly rated by the user on time.Next time, I'd like to try a hot spring inn in and out of the inn.

This place was a wonderful stay for me and my guests. The views were amazing, and the private onsen was amazing to use. The only thing I have to note which is not the the fault of the location, is that it is not really walkable. the closest bus stop is around 500m down hill, and walking all of your luggage up the hill is a very hard task on a very small road. other than that, and the AC being a bit difficult to figure out in English, the place was immaculate and we will definitely be coming back if we are in Hakone again, next time with a car.

Our host Jun was extremely accommodating by picking us up/dropping us off at various bus/train stations during our stay. He advised us for activities in the area, places to eat, etc. The evening meal offered is excellent and cheap. The accommodation is close to the departure of a little known tourist hike that offers a magnificent view of Mount Fuji upon arrival. Great experience!

My two nights with Wakoh and her family were amazing. Check-in goes smoothly, you are completely autonomous. The location of the house is on the other side, rural and totally quiet, but you can still be in the center in 20 minutes on foot at the latest. You can get great tips from the hosts. The family is very personable and helpful, the two dogs are super nice and do not disturb at all. Wakoh Prepare a very tasty breakfast. She gives a lot of ideas and has also offered car service. The other guests were also very kind. I would come back to stay anytime.

I really liked Sachio-san’s house. The surrounding area is very quiet, and the house is located on a beautiful slope. Perfect for anyone looking for a quiet time to reset and recharge. Everything inside the house is very clean and lovely. There is a Mona Lisa painting hanging in front of the kitchen door. Sachio-san is a small elderly man, always wearing his glasses and an Airbnb apron while preparing breakfast for me, he was truly adorable. Although the house is far from the city center, Sachio-san always took me to the station on time, which made the location not a problem at all. At night, there was a starry sky right in front of the house, something I hadn’t seen in a long time. It was truly touching. I will definitely come back here again. I hope Sachio-san will always stay healthy. He is a very respectable person.

Miki, Keita, and Yuko were soooooo incredibly hospitable, kind, and generous, it was beyond everything that I was expecting. The food was immaculately prepared at their place and they were gracious enough to take me to amazing places to eat too. They were so considerate to take me to places they thought I would appreciate as an artist, I got to make my own hanko- personal stamp by a local master craftsman, had amazing temple food, went to the lake, the whole area is so stunning. I’m sad my trip was too short. I’d highly recommend at least a week there if you enjoy being in the mountains and nature. There are so many amazing trails to hike. Keita also speaks English and even knew who Bauhaus is! Super plus points there ^____^ thank you sooooo much!!!!!! I am forever grateful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was a dream stay for rail lovers! First of all, the owner's thoughtful railway simulator is stunning.I couldn't stop feeling realistic, and I was obsessed with adults and children.This is an exclusive experience that can only be experienced here. The room is clean, spacious, and the bed is comfortable.There is also a whiteboard, projector, and Nintendo Switch in the workspace, so both work and play were pleasant.The wifi is also reliable, making it perfect for remote work. It is a 6-minute walk from the station and has good access, but it is slightly uphill, so it may be a little difficult when you have a lot of luggage.Still, if you arrive, there's a lot of room for charm to blow away the fatigue! What struck me even more was the bread baked in the home bakery.The freshly baked bread in the morning was exceptional and healed by the fragrant fragrance and the fluffy texture.It was a luxurious morning like being in a cafe. There was also a sauna and museum within walking distance, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the route recommended by the owner. It is a lovely place to stay that can be recommended to anyone, such as railway fans, but also families.I'd love to stay here again!

Mizuno’s ryokan is a fantastic hideaway from the bustling crowd. It’s clean with very local vibes, staff were very accommodating too even though we don’t speak much japanese. Dinner and breakfast were Kaiseiki style meals. Highly recommend this place Also, the private onsen is pay per use but definitely worth it. We did ours in the early morning and was treated to a beautiful mountain view with sunrise.

The house is about 100 meters from Fujisan Station, the road is very walkable, and there is no problem with the suitcase.Enter the hotel's secret door according to the host's instructions.We can drop off our luggage early and check in at 3pm sharp.The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.The bunk bed is on the left, and the single bed is on the right.The bathroom, toilet and sink in the hallway are all very clean.We stayed for four days, there was free homemade bread in the morning, it was delicious, coffee, kettle, utensils, etc., you can make your own breakfast, cooking oil and seasonings were provided, very convenient!There is also a real-time surveillance video of the photo-taking spot in Arakurayama Sengen Park in the lobby, which is super awesome👍.The hotel is 2.3 km from the park, easily accessible on foot, and bicycles are available for a fee.Recommended for friends coming to Mt. Fuji!

Our stay went differently than expected, because we unexpectedly did not have a rental car and therefore had to do everything with public transport. It is much quieter here than, for example, Lake Kawakuchigo (we thought that was a plus!), but the bus is therefore also less frequent. Yuki and her husband have made every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible and picked us up several times from the bus or to a restaurant by the lake. Yuki also thought with us how we could come to our next stay and had recommendations for activities nearby. Mount Fuji watching at sunrise from the observation platform nearby was beautiful. We even saw deer walking on the road there. Breakfast was delicious and could be adapted to dietary requirements. As far as we are concerned, highly recommended as a stay near Mount Fuji! 🗻🌅

We had such a wonderful stay and wanted to share how much we appreciated everything. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. After a full day of adventuring in the snowy Hakone weather, the onsen facilities were an absolute highlight - so relaxing and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect way to warm up and unwind. Thank you for creating such a peaceful and accommodating atmosphere. We would love to return again in the future!

I'm not sure if you can stay anywhere else with better views of Fuji! The staff spoke good English, which was great for a foreigner like me, and they were all very friendly. The only thing that would have made my stay better would have been some English instructions for the air con 😅😅, fortunately some guess and check and translation apps had it running in no time!

I really enjoyed staying here, even if it was only one night. We ended up renting a car, which was the best choice because the camp is slightly up a mountain. It was much easier figuring out transportation to places we wanted to go, rather than depending on a taxi or bus. The reception communicated well and answered the phone immediately when we had questions. The tent was a perfect view, there was some ~slight~ mold on the inside of the tent's top, but it everything else was perfectly clean. The bathroom was great, heated Japanese toilets--very clean. It was a truly amazing place to stay because the view of Fuji san was perfect the weekend we stayed. I definitely recommend staying here!

Takayuki-san is very warm, welcoming and helpful. We always have a little chat when we meet. He cares about how I feel about my stay and my trip in Kofu. It feels like home during my stay. The room is big and cozy. I was staying in a tatami room. It is a special experience. There are convenience shop, supermarket, restaurants within the area. A bus stop is right outside of the house. I would definitly recommand this room and other rooms hosted by Takayuki-san.

Perfect stay for nature and yoga lovers! 🙌🏻 beautiful hikes overlooking Mount Fuji which starts right outside the guest house and an amazing Onsen also with a view of Fuji, only 20 minutes away by bus. Great place 🗻

easily one of the best accommodations i’ve stayed at! wakana-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and the food she prepared for breakfast was delicious. there is an option to have dinner here as well but only subject to availability and you would need to pay separately - it is worth the money though, very good italian food. apart from that, she borrowed me a bicycle to travel around to nearby locations and there’s also an onsen-style tub for us to use. i really appreciate the help, thank you wakana-san and everyone at otto. i’ll be back when i can!

The food and the room were very satisfactory.It was my first time using it, but it was an explanation of the access to the inn, and the communication after I arrived was very polite and pleasant. I would like to stay again if I have a chance.

We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.

I had a wonderful time at Julian's Pension and can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Katrina and Julian were really friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Thanks to the advice from Katrina, I was able to experience their local Onsen, the Fujimi Panorama Resort and learned a lot of really interesting facts about the life in Japan. The private room and shared facilities were really clean and had everything I needed. Western style Breakfast and dinner was always delicous. There are still places in Fujimi I would love to visit and if it works out, I would really love to stay at this B&B again.
