Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Frutigen

Everything is great, the apartment is very nice and was very clean. It has great views and a beautiful garden. The truth is that there is nothing wrong. Everything was adequate and as described in the ad.

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

It was a beautiful place with spectacular views. The house and greenhouse have a unique charm, especially with horses nearby, adding to the peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The layout was very well thought out, and the host was friendly and incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain the plants and gave us a personal tour of the greenhouse, which I really appreciated as I was genuinely interested. We’ve never stayed anywhere like this before—it was a memorable and special experience.

We were a family of four - with two young children. The place was great and very well maintained. Since it was very hot outside, Alexandra had already turned on the air conditioning in advance - we were very happy about it. As a small welcome, Alexandra provided us with fresh organic cherries from the garden :) Was a wonderful stay, happy to come back!

We loved our stay here! Everything was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the place had such a charming feel to it. It’s conveniently located near a grocery store, which made things easy, and overall, it was one of the best locations we stayed at during our trip. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Alpine Loft in Frutigen was a great!This beautiful Swiss home exuded authentic alpine charm, perfectly blending tradition with modern comfort. We were captivated by the stunning, uninterrupted views of the mountains from the balcony – truly breathtaking. The house was impeccably clean and felt so thoughtfully prepared, making it a peaceful sanctuary. Jonathan was an exceptional host – incredibly kind, responsive, and his recommendations were invaluable. If you're seeking a genuinely beautiful and serene Swiss experience, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return!

Stefan’s place is a perfectly located for lots of activities in the Swiss countryside - we were within distance of Oeschinensee, Charmey, Lake Thun and Grindelwald/Lauterbrunnen, and would recommend all! Stefan is super friendly and responsive. The place is very nice and clean - if the weather had been better we would’ve loved to enjoy the BBQ!

We were at this place for 2 nights and could make beautiful trips to e.g. Lauterbrunnen with beautiful waterfalls and a day after to the Thunersee was also very nice. You do need a car or use the guest card so that you can go to certain attractions cheaper or for free with public transportation, Also nice to walk in the area of the cottage

Our family came to Switzerland for a vacation, and Ronny's apartment brought us too many surprises. The scenery of Kandersteg town is particularly beautiful. The apartment is within walking distance of Oeschinen Lake, and next to it is an activity center with a swimming pool and entertainment facilities. The room is warmly and appropriately furnished, the bedding is comfortable and tasteful, and Ronny has even prepared towels, slippers, and even toothbrushes for us, which is really very thoughtful. The kitchen has everything we need, and the large - screen TV and PS5 in the living room meet the entertainment needs of the whole family. Most notably, Ronny's apartment has a beautiful balcony where you can sit in a rocking chair and enjoy the snow - capped mountains, and at night you can listen to the beautiful sound of the stream. It's so pleasant. We will choose here again when we come to Switzerland next time. We are very satisfied.

Everything from arrival at Simone’s place to the stay was perfect. The location of her place and what the windows open to are a beautiful sight in the morning. Simone was accommodating and a lovely host, always responsive and helpful. Her place is excellent in terms of location, situated in the heart of Frutigen, a beautiful little town, and it is near all major scenic locations and places of interest. Parking being available made life ease when driving. I would highly recommend Simone’s place and we will definitely be back again.

Very clear instructions about everything from check in to amenities. Very clean place within a peaceful environment with a fair price for a studio apartment. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is an accommodation where it is unfortunate to only give 5 stars. When I opened the door of the house, I was excited to open the door every day because of the view of the Eiger north wall and the chalet that was gathered in the boil. It's about a 15-minute walk to a nearby station, but it's so beautiful that I didn't know how much time I had.☺️🩷 Not only that, the host, Anita, was very kind, very responsive, and thankful for the thoughtfulness of checking if there were any medium difficulties. Not only on the day of check-in, but even though I had to check out at 6 am, it was so nice and comfortable that I didn't have to drag a heavy carrier to the train station by car.!!! The condition of the house was also very modern and cozy, and it had everything we needed, so we were able to stay without any inconvenience!! In particular, I felt Anita's attention to detail again in the service of providing room slippers and lending umbrellas.👍🏻 If I visit Grindelwald again, I will definitely visit again!!

Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! Andrea's Airbnb was a nice 3-night stay for me in the middle of a much longer trip. I needed a place to decompress, do laundry, and recover from international flights and jetlag. Andrea's condo in Spiez was a spacious and convenient choice. The condo is a short walk from the picturesque town and the train station, and the neighborhood was very quiet while I was there. I agree with the suggestion to take the bus up the hill from the train station to the stop near the condo if you are carrying luggage or groceries. I also agree with reviewers that mentioned the lack of a microwave, which was OK for a short stay but I would miss if I rented for a longer time. The grocery store is near the train station and walkable. I will caution that almost everything in town is closed on Sunday, so if you arrive on a Saturday then pick up enough groceries to tide you over to Monday. There's a small convenience store at the train station if you have to buy on Sunday. I would stay here again.

Heidi’s home and the views are truly breathtaking! Book this place, it’s worth every cent. Heidi was an amazing host, very thorough and has pictures explaining everything. The home was spotless. Entry is very secure as it has 2 entry points - look at her instructions carefully for self check in and you’ll be all set. The parking was spacious for our SUV rental. We couldn’t be more happy to have stayed here for our honeymoon. We will certainly be back!

Incredible place in the most beautiful location! Eva’s place was fantastic, well equipped, offered incredible sweeping views, quiet nights—perfect for a peaceful retreat with access to daytime adventures and great meals. The location is perfect for accessing basic services and some great meals and beach spots. It’s also a short drive/ride to the heat of Thun, offering vibrant culture, great meals and swimming in the lake/river. Oberhofen also seems to be a pretty central spot on lake Thun to other towns and driving into mountains. For anyone working while there, the WiFi was great and I experienced zero issues with connectivity or speed. AMAZING trip overall - loved it!
