This Victorian mid-terrace cottage is situated in a hamlet, two miles outside of Bala, a gateway to Snowdonia National Park with pubs, restaurants and outdoor activities. Our cottage is surrounded by farms and hills, a perfect spot for a getaway. There are walking paths in front of the house, leading you through the stunning Welsh landscape; Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala) is a 5 minute drive away and Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) 60 minutes. The magnificent beaches by the Llyn Peninsula are only 45m away.

With under-floor heating, a Sauna and a full cinema system with screen and a stunning audio system from Monitor Audio. It's just 10 mins drive from Bala town and walking distance to the lake. Patio doors from the lounge open onto a side garden where you can enjoy BBQs, and in the garden behind there are views of Bala lake and mountains. There's a kingsize bed upstairs + a kingsize sofa bed downstairs to sleep four.

Our wooden Hut is located on a Working Farm in the Snowdonia National Park, tucked away in the mountains above Bala below Arenig Fawr. fantastic views of the mountains and the welsh countryside. it's Ideal as a base for 2 people for an active getaway, walking holiday or just switching off for a few days in a beautifully rural location. The market town of Bala is a 10 min drive which has many shops, restaurants and cafes. Bala has the largest natural lake in Wales - Llyn Tegid/Bala lake

Yr Efail is a converted blacksmiths workshop.

Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.
