There are marked hiking trails around the cabin area, as well as a beach with a diving board and floating jetty. Great area for picking wild mushrooms and berries in late summer and autumn. Possibility to go fishing in the fjord.

It is about 1 hour drive to the Zoo in Kristiansand, Evje where you can visit the mineral park and to Brokelandsheia where you can visit the small zoo. Otherwise, there is a short distance to the coastal towns of Lillesand, Grimstad, Arendal, Tvedestrand and Risør.

The cabin is located in a small village. 10 min away by car you come to Mykland, there is a shop that has what you need, if you go to a larger town it is 35 min to Evje or 50 min drive to the beautiful coastal town of Arendal.

This is a modern cabin from 2022, with good sunny conditions. The area is a great arena for skiing in the winter, with slopes on either side of the cabin. People work there to make sure the slopes are in top condition. In the summer there are a lot of places to go hiking, with 10 mountain tops nearby. There are also a lot of activites nearby (15-20 min drive - nearby Evje) where you can go to an amusement park, look at minerales and drive Go-kart. The cabin is a great place for relaxation.
