The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30 min to Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesental valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to five guests a cozy stay. The border triangle enables a variety of cultural and sports leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

The heated Waldhauser Hof Fässle offers a unique overnight experience. The quiet retreat is designed for two people and has a cozy double bed, a seating area, storage space and a kitchen corner with a wash basin and refrigerator. Outside, a seating lounge invites you to relax. A dry separation toilet is located next to the barrel. Please note that there is no shower. Ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to relax!

Favorite retreat:-) "Our Alpine view" in Todtmoos is a little gem for us - whether with children or alone, in spring, summer, autumn or winter, we always have a wonderful, relaxing time here. We want to share this and want our guests to do the same. ... at the moment we are looking forward to sunny spring days and the fresh green between the dark fir trees!

The property is slightly elevated above the village of Zell im Wiesental, shopping and train station are within minutes walking distance. It is a scenic area with many excursion possibilities on foot, by bike, by car or public transport.
