In the morning you will be awakened by the sound of the birds and through the large window you may see a deer walking through the forest. When you are in bed, you can look through the skylight at the starry sky. The Stuga is cozy and equipped with every comfort, with a complete kitchen, bathroom with rain shower and dry toilet. The location is central for excursions to cities and nature reserves.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. 'Ons Stulpje' is a complete, separate appartment with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed, rain shower and complete kitchen. The jacuzzi can be booked separately (€30 per 2 h timeslot). The (shared) pool can be used in Summer. The airbnb is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland. Breakfast can be added for €15 p.p. per day.

The cities of Papenburg (17 km) and Leer (20 km) can be reached quickly. The North Sea coast and the Dollart, as well as the Netherlands, are also not far away. Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered beneath a wooden embankment, you look out over the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living room, and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

The house has all the comforts, within walking distance of the beautiful historic center of Meppel (450 meters) and train and bus station (280 meters). With the possibility to park for free in the street. Bicycle rental can be found within walking distance at the train station (280 meters).
