We had a great time staying here. The home is very peaceful and private. Made me feel right at home being down a private dirt road.

Such a beautiful private area. Susan was an excellent host. We enjoyed our overnight stay. Definitely would have stayed longer if our trip had permitted. The large back porch was relaxing morning and evening.

A charming and peaceful refuge during a stressful time. I so appreciate this wonderful, comforting old home for my sister’s stay in Grove Hill. I never got to join her as originally planned due to a family emergency, but she told me over and over how welcoming it was for her. She loved sitting on the porch with her coffee every morning especially. She said it was lovely. A special thanks to Kay for all her helpfulness. Every query was met with an almost immediate response. If we ever find ourselves back in Grove Hill this will be the place that we would like to stay again.

Our employees have a quiet and comfortable stay here. We appreciate the opportunity to have a nice place to stay when working in this area.

Stephanie's place was beautiful and a very comfortable place to stay. There is so much history in the area the house itself has it's own story. The front and back porch were the best - we really looked forward to returning at end of day just to enjoy the back porch. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend Stephanie's listing

Sadly, I reserved The Marshall House because my mother had passed away. I didn't know who all would be coming and I wanted to make sure my adult children were comfortable. I messaged Christy about this and she told me not to worry. There ended up being four of us and we used all the beds and the roll-out. No complaints from anyone- even the roll-out mattress was comfortable. My daughter works remotely and had several work projects due the following week. Wifi worked great and the large dining room table was perfect for her needs. My immediate family staggered in from different states and didn't arrive until late. Marshall House was the perfect refuge for me to get ready to attend my mom's wake before they arrived. I have to say we'd reserve this home again just for the shower! I can't thank our hosts enough for their thoughtfulness during this difficult time. We've stayed numerous times at Airbnb's - from our welcome (fresh donuts) to our exit- Southern hospitality at its best!

There are not enough words to describe how great Tom and Renee are in addition to their beautiful air bnb! I travel often for work and this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The land is gorgeous, peaceful, and just perfect. The home itself is so homey and cozy and I can’t think of one thing we needed. We will definitely be back! Thank you for your incredible hospitality 💙
