Farmstay vacation rentals in French Flanders

Isabelle is a lovely host, very friendly & welcoming and her place is great value for money. We stayed here with our dogs who loved the well fenced yard. No fireworks at New Year which was very important to us. Beautiful forest (forêt de Crécy) nearby to go for long walks, but in winter be sure to check the hunting calendar before going! The kitchen has all necessary equipment & utensils, and the shower room is spacious. The bed unfortunately was too small and too hard for us, but that’s a personal preference! Electric heaters throughout the cabin worked well and got warm quickly. Good water pressure in the shower and no shortage of warm water. Great Wifi. Car can be parked within the gates which makes unloading luggage much easier when you have dogs and/or kids running around. There are neighbors on the front & sides but the back looks out on a nice field, it felt private, calm & very quiet. All in all a lovely Airbnb!

Excellent stay in Dominique and Alain's very charming place. Everything is tastefully decorated. A small haven of peace! An exceptional environment in a beautiful setting! No noise except birdsong! Pure happiness! A very pleasant and friendly welcome from Dominique and Alain whom we thank again. Everything was together to make our stay go smoothly! I highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back to enjoy the beautiful hikes that the area offers!

location away from the tourist flow especially the we of August 15. The amenities of this family home make you feel at home. Marilyn is attentive if we need something. Thanks for the good apple pie

Fantastic stay. The holiday home has everything needed and more! Travelling with a baby and a 3 year old was made easy as Fillip had absolutely everything. The home is in beautiful surroundings, easy to find and great base for visiting Ypres, Bruges and Ghent. Fillip and his family were welcoming and gave us great recommendations. I highly reccomend!

A good night spent in this beautiful cottage. Very friendly welcome. We also enjoyed seeing the animals and of course, the Nordic bath!

We had a lovely stay at Edith and Patrick’s place. The view of the place is stunning and peaceful. Edith and Patrick were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The place is also very close by car to a few landmarks in the region like cap Blanc nez and cap griz nez.

François and I were at the meeting point for our stay at Valérie and Fabrice's. We were won over by the place, which is very well located for discovering the Opal Coast. Perfect and extremely well maintained bedroom and bathroom, delicious breakfasts, etc. Beyond all that, we met great people in Valerie and Fabrice. Valerie gave us great tips on places to visit. We had beautiful moments of sharing…THANK YOU! Thanks to all this, we fell in love with the Opal Coast. To be experienced again? YES!

Fantastic stay – absolutely recommended! We had a great stay with the children and grandchildren, and can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt welcome. The host/hostess were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was taken care of to the last detail! Plus the dogs were an added value for us, such a sweetheart and especially with our little dog we had with us. How nice this was! Really repeatable for us! The cottage is packed with amenities. The kitchen design is very complete, from coffee maker to wine extractor, everything was there. The beds are of good quality, everything was clean, in short recommended for those who want to stay in this area for a shorter or longer period of time. Sabine is a friendly and thoughtful host.

Our stay at Conny’s Airbnb in Aalter, Belgium was absolutely fantastic! The space was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It was the perfect size for our group of six, providing plenty of room for everyone. Conny was an amazing host—she was welcoming, thoughtful, and provided excellent recommendations for local sights and dining. The location is ideal, just a short drive from both Bruges and Ghent, two must-see cities. Plus, there’s a bus stop only a 10-minute walk away, making transportation super easy. We felt completely at home and highly recommend staying here. A 5-star experience all around!

Lovely couple of days at Guy's place. Comfortable and peaceful within a cute village. The kitchen area was spacious for us all and very well equipped. Log fires kept us cosy and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Guy recommended we visit the nearby town Arras and Montreuil-sur-Mer, which were easy to reach and the recommended restaurants were great.

Wonderful little house in a beautiful village. House was immaculate and very clean. Very peaceful village, both restaurants tried very tasty and both accommodating. Very easy access by train into Bruges. Would definitely return. Hosts were very considerate asking how we would like the rooms set up before we arrived.

Excellent stay in this very nice house ideal for a large family reunion. The dining area and living room allow you to meet together. However, everyone can find their privacy if necessary Perfect garden to leave children safely. Great welcome We will be sure to come back if the opportunity arises to bring our 4 generations together.

A beautiful guest house located in the outskirts with fantastic views. A very well kept and clean accommodation we were truly impressed. The guest house boasts of a lovely good size open plan lounge and kitchen area with access to private back garden with full use of sofa and outdoor table and chairs. The house was clean on arrival, and we loved that they had a range of toys for my children that were made full use of - So sending a huge thanks to the couple for that! The kitchen had lots to offer a space to cook and relax. A fully functioning electric hob/ dishwasher and fire pit (super easy to use). Good size beds in both rooms and my kids slept well. We travelled to Ghent and Bruges via car which took no more than 35 mins. All in all fantastic location with beautiful landscapes, Jabbeke had many shops / bakeries / electric charging points near by. Thank you to Frederiek and Riet and for their warm welcome and for letting us stay at the beautiful guest house.

Charming cottage, good location, quiet, while being close to Boulogne and the Caps area. Very warm welcome, we also really enjoyed the fresh homemade bread and pastries in the morning!

We had a great time during this Easter weekend. The cottage and park are spacious which allowed all family members to indulge in their favorite things to do. The kitchens are very well equipped: refrigerators, freezers, electric ovens, electric hobs, microwave, small household appliances (coffee makers, kettles, toaster) enough dishes, nothing missing! The bedding is comfortable. We had a very good relationship with Wulfran: without seeing each other, we of course and the small issues we encountered were quickly resolved. We recommend this cottage in this beautiful setting.

We had the cosiest, loveliest stay in Eric and Jo’s cottage-apartment! Upon arrival they had even wrote a sign with my name on saying welcome, such a sweet thought! The bed was so incredibly comfy, and shower was amazing. We are so happy we chose to stay here, and stay outside the city. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature and we enjoyed cycling into Bruges, as well as running on a morning in the countryside. We had peaceful breakfasts outside in the sun too. Eric and Jo were lovely to chat to and I only wish we had more time! They are a credit to what Airbnb should be, truly incredible hosts, and went out of their way to be welcoming, warm and full of great tips and information. Couldn’t recommend more! Thanks a million :)

Great accomodation! Very close to all of the sites and such a wonderful stay for our children as they loved all of the animals. Would definitely stay again!
