Wij wonen in het achterhuis. Ideaal voor fietsers en wandelaars. Slechts 3 km van Steenwijk centrum en 3.9. km van het NS station. Dichtbij Giethoorn, de Weerribben en Hunebedden in het natuurgebied Holtingerveld. The Colony of Frederiksoord, listed on UNESCO world heritage, is only 6.5 km away.

In an oasis of peace, hidden among greenery in a very nice large garden, with lovely covered seating area stands this "Lovely Quiet Cottage". Proximity to Diever and Dwingeloo. The bungalow was completely renovated in 2019 and equipped with cozy open kitchen, beautiful new bathroom with walk-in shower and bedrooms with good box spring beds. Cozy wood-burning stove. A nice and quiet place in the middle of nature.

Enjoy the peace and space of Drenthe from our Bakhuis, traditionally the farmer's wood shed. We have transformed our Bakhuis into a wonderful place from which you can endlessly walk, cycle or mountain bike in one of the three beautiful nature reserves around Wapserveen. And then at night, enjoy one of the darkest places in the Netherlands. In the backyard is the colony of Weldadigheid, which became a world heritage site in 2020.
