Farmstay vacation rentals in Frederick County

This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Everything we wanted to do was within a 15 minute drive and yet we felt like we were out in the country. The goats provided loads of entertainment!! The soap and cheese were wonderful! It was like going to your grandmother's house!!

We had a wonderful three day stay in the Tower. We arrived late at night so it was dark but getting inside was easy peasy. Instructions were very clear. We were an hour drive from every where we wanted to be and we able to return to quiet and a comfortable atmosphere. Disappointed that we didn’t see or experience anything paranormal but we did watch a snake shed its skin on the lawn!

The best airbnb house I have ever stayed. Felt like our own house, very spacious, super clean, cozy and safe. Kids loved the horses, chickens and cats in the backyard. Debbie is very nice and friendly and responds quickly for any questions. And she is very kind and allowed us check in earlier and check out later to accommodate our schedule. Will definitely come back again and recommend to my friends.

I stayed for a little over a month while waiting to close on my house and really enjoyed it. Rani left out fresh fruit and provided breakfast items that came in handy and saved me some money on eating out. I slept comfortably each night and the radiator in the bathroom is better than any space heater. When I was feeling a little down I’d pop out back and watch the horses and a cute pair of cardinals. The view is gorgeous. I also became friendly with sweet gray cat and their bouncy, adorable dogs. All this made it feel like being at home. Rani was kind, welcoming, and warm in every interaction. Some after work chats were such a good reprieve from the stress of the office. 10/10 place.

There was plenty of space inside and out for us to enjoy a long weekend. We did the scavenger hunt at the farm and walked along the country road and creek. The refrigerator had lots of space, and the kitchen had what we needed. The welcome binder was helpful. JoAnn was a responsive host, and I appreciated the encouragement to drink the tap water and compost. :)

This place is very unique! You have more than enough space for inside and outside entertainment. Inside you get a nice private bar style living arrangement and outside you have nice country scenery. The place was clean and easy to find. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a fantastic stay. This home is far away from the hustle and bustle, and very peaceful. Their horses and dogs love to come up and say hi. Norma and Patrick have continental breakfast set up for the guests, and they have experience with hosting since the very early days of Airbnb. Getting packages delivered from Amazon was a breeze here. Also, Civil War battlefields are in proximity to this home. I found some rigorous hiking trails and feasted at great restaurants afterwards. During my stay I learned a lot from Patrick about Civil War history.

Great place, very nice accommodations, friendly hosts

During our stay we had a couple issues and Brent was incredibly quick to remedy them as well as always maintained very pleasant professional communication. It was a pleasure talking with Brent and would recommend anyone with a large group stay here over other places!

WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay for the second time with Brian and Sinziana. The suite was exactly as we remembered it and their home has lovely gardens and is conveniently located. It was quiet and peaceful and they were outstanding hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. The homemade breakfast was outstanding and we could not have had a better stay! We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Frederick.

Beautiful place to recharge your batteries

Our family of four adults had the utmost comfort in this Zen retreat. Very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed watching deer, groundhogs and birds. The hot tub and outside shower were relaxing and refreshing. The beds, towels and linens are all extravagant and pampering. The bathrooms have every convenience including toiletries, bathrobes and a towel warmer. We loved the different sinks throughout and the river stones in the main bath. We surely could have fit more people in this bright space but we found time away from each other, too, with one on the swing, one sipping a drink on the front porch, someone enjoying a rainshower in the master bath while someone read in the magical window seat with views across the west. We cooked finding all necessary and high end appliances. The coffee and tea bar provided dozens of choices. This haven was what we needed. We highly recommend this special home with fun and smart touches.

Our stay here was idyllic, and our host could not have been nicer! We were in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect place to get ready, and also the perfect place to wind down with a fire after! The house was clean, there was information about area attractions, and the sound of rain on the tin roof at night was extremely pleasing. We would recommend this place to anyone! Wish we had more time to stay and explore the property, but if we’re ever in the area again, we look forward to staying here!

This is the perfect home for a relaxed weekend. My family and I loved the pool and the farm animals. Caroline and Billy were super sweet and helpful. Definitely book with them without any hesitation.

I needed a break after selling my home and retiring - this little spot was just the remedy for me and my pup. Rustic, but clean and comfortable. Private, but convenient for amenities close by. I enjoyed my stay there immensely and would highly recommend it for those looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful locale.

Thank you Lauren for letting us stay at your beautiful house. All our family really enjoyed it. We also walked around the rose garden and the wedding barn was amazing. We will be hosting more gatherings at the barn for our graduations, anniversaries etc. Lauren was very responsive to our even small needs even in this really cold weather by getting the deck area shoveled etc. Thank you again!

This location was exactly as described. Everything was perfect from the communications to the wonderfully quiet accommodations. Tanya was so easy to work with and we had a wonderful 12 day, quiet, secluded stay. The amenities were perfect, everything worked great, and the setting was so peaceful. We had wonderful daily visits with Willow the wonder dog (who we fell in loved with), enjoyed feeding carrots to the horse, and trying to get the sheep to get over some trust issues. Very beautiful grounds and a great place to unwind. We loved this place and will be back in the future. Just far enough away from kids and grandkids for us to escape a bit. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to find a quiet corner made for nice walks, good books, seeing the MD countryside at its best, and enjoying the Canadian Geese at the pond down the street. Every bit of attention to detail has been paid. The farm is breathtakingly beautiful, calm, and so easy to get to! We went to a local vineyard and ventured into Frederick— all lively drives and less than 20 minute drive. All dishes, cookware, and necessities were amply available. The beds were comfortable, the sheets felt amazing, the towels were soft and the fire pit was an absolute delight. Thank you for such an amazing trip!

Stayed 1 night while attending a wedding nearby, google maps took me to the address without any problems, location looked just like the photos, gave me a perfect spot to recover from travel with some nice peace and quiet
