Private entry, open floor plan basement is 1,300 square feet; 4 double beds, wrap around window seat, bar with kitchenette, bath/shower, and game area. We welcome those who are looking for a unique place to stay. We are close to Taneytown (Antrim 1844), Gettysburg, Frederick, Ski Liberty, Catoctin Mountain, Carroll County Wine Trail, Flood Zone. We do live upstairs, you are renting a walkin basement, and have use of outdoor spaces.

The Jarboe Suite takes its name from the Jarboe family, the original 1948 builders of Manor House at Gayfield! The bedroom boasts an antique canopy bed, wonderful views, marble topped dresser and washstand and modern heat/AC. The large bathroom includes a corner tub. The 2nd floor Jarboe Suite is situated nicely with an equipped kitchenette that includes a dry-sink conversion. Those receptive to the spirits can experience the whispering voices of the past echoing through this Civil War estate!

Enjoy your stay in this fabulous pool house located in a quiet neighborhood. Relax poolside during the day and enjoy the outdoor bar and kitchen for cocktails at sunset. Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick.
