The Stone Cutter's House

Anne MirandaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sylvie and Phillippe were the most charming and gracious hosts one could hope to encounter. They are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Cordes-sur-Ciel and the surrounding medieval villages and towns. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos (the view from the kitchen window alone made this a marvellous place to stay). Kitchen and bathroom are beautifully appointed. Bit of a hike to the shops, but the cobblestone streets are enchanting and the exercise didn’t do us any harm! We would like to thank our hosts for everything they did to help us have an absolutely wonderful month in southern France.

Beautiful village house with pool and valley views

CarolineRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This is such a wonderful property. Quirky but also practical, a real family home that is well equipped and comfortable. The pool is fantastic and the location incredible - shops, markets, restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance and yet it backs onto glorious countryside so is also very peaceful. We had 3 generations of our family staying and there was plenty of space for 7 of us. When we had problems with our flights home, Simon and Catherine could not have been more accommodating and flexible. Thank you very much for sharing your home and enabling us to have such a fantastic holiday.
A rustic entrance is framed by a stone facade, featuring natural materials and muted colors. The doorway is accented by a wooden overhang and a lantern, with greenery surrounding the entrance. Low-growing plants and decorative grasses add texture and interest to the welcoming pathway.

Tranquillity in Souel - 4km from Cordes sur Ciel

IanRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Still coming back down to earth after the best week at Liza’s place. Driving along past the sunflower fields we were greeted by the most incredible views and spectacular sunsets. The pool was fantastic, perfect size for our boys (11 and 8) to enjoy. It was hard to get them out even after a week! The surrounding area had plenty to enjoy. From walking to the top of Cordes-sur-Ciel and breathtaking views, to the Sunday market at Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val with so much delicious food. We visited local vineyards, spent a great day canoeing with stop offs for picnics and river swimming. The house was clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Liza was the perfect host, she left us to it and we wouldn’t have known she was there. She was able to tell us the best tips of places to visit, where to eat and local village fetes. There were fresh figs from the garden. All in all the perfect setting for an amazing family holiday. Would return in a heartbeat, still so much to explore!

You will be warmly welcomed at Isabelle and Patrick's, a stone's throw from Cordes-sur-Ciel. Here you can rest, enjoy the tranquility, in a cozy cottage, stroll through the garden and its meanders, carefully maintained by your hosts. The opportunity to read serenely or stargaze. It will also be an opportunity to enjoy the coolness of the pool and to dine on the terrace. Let's not forget the company of Natcho, the canine companion of the premises, who will come to greet you briefly every day. An ideal place to discover the charms of Tarn and Aveyron.

Château de Belmont-Sainte-Foi

MoniqueRating, 5 stars1 month ago
From Anne-Cathrine & Christophe’s communication to the property itself we were left absolutely speechless and left wishing we were staying longer! The bed was so comfy and all of the amenities were top notch. The love and time they have put into the Chateau and its surrounds speaks for itself and we were in awe as soon as we arrived. Already thinking of ways we can come back! Worth every penny and tres incroyable! ❤️
