Perfect stay - Absolutely recommended! We had a wonderful time in Frauenwald with Andrea. The place was exactly as described. Everything was super clean and appropriately furnished. Andrea was incredibly hospitable and even invited us to a barbecue evening with original Thuringian sausages upon arrival. The location of the place is excellent. Very quiet and yet we were able to reach everything well. Andrea also recommended an excellent restaurant "Gasthaus Waldfrieden." There are daily grilled specialties from the beech wood fire. A must for meat lovers. Vegetarian dishes and fish are also on the menu. Overall, our stay was perfect and if we go back to the biathlon in Oberhof, it is certainly an option. Thank you, Andrea, for the hospitality - we highly recommend this Airbnb.

We felt really comfortable at Silke's place. She is a very, very warm, cosmopolitan hostess! The apartment is in an old local house, which Silke has renovated super cozily and also modernly. The kitchen is perfectly equipped so we could take good care of ourselves. The garden invites you to linger in good weather. Unfortunately, the Thuringian Forest is also affected by drought and bark beetle damage, but we still enjoyed the time in nature very much. You can hike directly from the house. For all those who want to get to know this part of Thuringia or visit it again, we can wholeheartedly recommend Silke's apartment. 🥰
