Chalet vacation rentals in Franklin County

We had a wonderful stay. We’re a group of 4 mostly retired couples. Linda’s place was perfect for our needs. We used 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom, comfortable communal space, a dining room that accommodated all of us, and a great kitchen with lots of counter space, utensils, serving dishes, etc. The main bedroom upstairs also had an adjoining suite perfect for families with young children. Linda’s instructions were clear and she was very responsive to all messages. Linda had towels for the hot tub which we loved using after a day of outdoor activity. We highly recommend Linda’s place and look forward to returning next year.

We had a snowmobile trip planned, but we encountered some problems, and that didn't work out. We ended up booking Anna and JP's house at the last minute. We had a wonderful time. The house was lovely, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. The hot tub was a hit with the teenagers, it is clean and well maintained. We would like to come back during the summer. This is an ideal house for a fun family ski trip to Titus Mountain. Big bright windows allow you to take in the beautiful snowy woods while staying warm and cozy in front of the fire. And a ski trail is right through the backyard. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Justin was an incredibly accommodating host, we booked the spot for our annual ski trip. Dinning room table has a great view and set up. About a 20 minute drive to the ski hill at whiteface. A bunch of parking spots, and restaurants within walking distance (I’ll be it a cold and snowy walk on our particular trip!)

My family of 4 recently traveled to Lake Placid for a few days of winter fun and had the absolute pleasure of staying at Michele's Chalet. The Chalet features beautiful Adirondack-themed decor and finishes, comfortable and cozy furnishings, and thoughtful amenities that made our stay feel extra special. There is even a sledding hill in front of the Chalet complete with sleds, plus a play loft stocked with toys. At the end of each day on the slopes or in town, we loved retreating back to the Chalet and its peaceful surroundings. Michele is attentive, warm and friendly, and she offered us great recommendations for dinner spots and family activities! Also, even though our stay overlapped with a significant snow fall, the drive and walkways to the Chalet were always clear of snow.

This place is wonderful! The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed during February and took advantage of the snowy conditions in the area. After playing outdoors, we were able to come "home" and get warm and cozy. Joanne has done a beautiful job decorating. It has everything you need for cooking if you prefer that to eating out. It's also close to all the fun activities. We loved it and are hoping to stay again this summer.

Wonderful place, peaceful, convenient for skiing family.

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect ski in ski out location on Titus mountain. FYI, There are 4 private bedrooms plus two more Murphy beds in basement. It’s hard to tell from the description. It was perfect for two families!
