Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees.

Ideal for a holiday or home office use. Entrance, bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. Close to supermarket, the city centre, Harlingen beach and Vlieland & Terschelling ferry terminal. There is paid parking available in the street or at Spoorstraat parking (150 m). Indoor parking for bicycles available upon request.

Within 15 minutes by bike (for rent), you can be at Potten Beach or in the bustle of the city, while on your return, you can once again enjoy the tranquility of the Frisian countryside. An ideal combination of vibrancy and relaxation. The detached húske is stylishly and tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort.

This beautiful house right on the dike can accommodate up to 6 people. The centerpiece is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view of the IJsselmeer. Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here.
